Hello lovely people! Anybody here live in Bogota?
Hey fam, been missing workouts for the last week but have been resting before my scheduled induction with twins tomorrow! We made it to almost 38 weeks, truly I did not even think that would be possible with twins. I am SO thankful for how this platform has helped keep me so healthy throughout this pregnancy. Much love to everyone this week! 💕💕
GFam, Have a stupendous and lovely time at Palentines Day class on 2/14/24! Helping Mama JG at the DMV at 9am and will hopefully hit the replay tomorrow night! xo ❤️
You all. Covid hit my daughter this past weekend. Thankfully, it’s mild. She’s the only one in our fam who has had a positive test. This is her second time with Covid. Her first was in 2022. The rest of us tested negative, even this morning. But I felt something was amiss with me this morning when I didn’t want to get up to do my M/BODY workout. Although I tested negative this morning, I swabbed my throat tonight. I read an article that said sometimes the virus doesn’t reach the nasal passages. The article didn’t say to swab the throat but I decided to see. And now, I feel like I have an annoying cold. But, sometimes a forced break can be a good thing. I doubt I’ll be up for Palestine’s….but I’ll be there, cheering you all on from #deskcrew!
I have endometrosis and I can have days of feeling not so great with cramping, pelvic pain, bloating, and fatigue. Today, was one of those days and I was struggling to decide if a workout would diminish or exacerbate symptoms. I was looking through the catalog feeling unsure of what would be best - low impact, bouncy and energizing, targeted workout, etc. I am sure many of you have felt this way that you aren’t sure what your body is craving some days. Will this workout serve me or should I have chosen a different session? Well, I chose the new chair dance- 30 min session and it was exactly what I needed! My pelvic discomfort lessened and I felt a sense of relief throughout of my body. Don’t you just love when you choose a session that is exactly what you needed in that moment?!
I appreciate this group and the good positive energy you all exude.
This sets the tone for a wonderful year! 30 days of dry January, 30 days of Yoga (with Adriene) and 15 days of M/body ( with Marnie and all of you). Keeping this up through February with more M/body. Xo
I'm nervously anticipating Marnie's use of sliders starting in a couple weeks. I already have them from barre classes I took before and they can be amazing for your abs and...well, everything, really! Who else is excited?
It’s time for a mini Palentines challenge!!
Within the next two weeks you can opt to do 1-3 of the cataloged Palentines classes (68, 164, 257).
Have fun!! 💗
Early M/Body G/Fam birds - what’s your tips for excercising early in the morning?
I need your help you lovely lot! I’ve always been a night owl (this didn’t change when my baby girl came along 🤣🙈) and an evening workout after work/once little girl’s in bed and before dinner has been my little routine and I’ve loved it! However, now that Lily goes to bed later (7.-7.30pm),doing a “Marnie” (as we call it on our household💗) before making dinner will result in a very late cooking session and sitting down for a meal and I feel we don’t have much of an evening left. So I’ve decided something’s gotta give! My husband and I we both decided to workout early in the morning instead! I’m on week 3-trying to get up at 5.30 am as I’m on the mat by 6 am at the latest! It’s surprisingly not as difficult as I thought but I feel I’m a bit more weak in the morning. Are there many fam members out there who are on a similar routine? Do you eat before an early morning excercise? What are you fave classes to do? I also don’t feel like a lot of bounce and mainly have been focusing on shorter classes but maybe it’s something my body will get used to! Any tips would be welcome!💗Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post!lots of love xxxx
I am so happy to complete my ball collection and FINALLY do the corresponding class. I am also very excited about the gliders and very optimistic they will make the towel classes feel more accessible on carpet! Thanks M/Body!
