This was my first M/BODY Challenge and felt like the perfect way to dive deep into these workouts, the affirmations/meditations, and connect w/ this beautiful community of support. I posted a long AF love letter about it on Instagram, but I am proud of observing physical improvements (in form, endurance, and some flexibility) and mental shifts (more playful & curious and less frustrated & impatient with my journey). Embracing not numbing out and progress not perfection. Grateful for this experience, and so proud of anyone who makes the choice to show up at the mat or honors the message to do something else, like rest, when that is needed.

Congrats to all of you warriors! I absolutely loved this challenge and I’m so proud of all of us. And my absolute favorite part of challenge #5 was getting to meet Dani C in Paris and bring her M/ovement balls to her! I love this fam so much

Surprise surprise, being kind and gentle with oneself works really well hehe! Instead of pushing for 60 (all or nothing) I allowed myself to set the goal of 30 workouts for this challenge. Lo and behold, I did 45 in the end!

My favourite part of these challenges is redoing workouts that I don’t tend to do in my regular routine. Or just miss (because we now have this gorgeous catalogue of over 180 workouts!).

My two new faves are:

  1. barre sweat 156. I struggle with the positioning of my legs, hips and arms at the bar when we do leg work so I hope to redo this one to work on that.

  2. Signature 00s themed 147. I LOVED the glute work in this one, typically done on all fours, we did on our knees while holding the bar. (I do hope I’m describing this properly). My shoulders LOVED that and I loved it. Also managed the two sets of four sets of 8 jumps!

Sorry for the loooooong post. Congratulations to my fellow fam for the completion of your personal challenge!!!!

Love to you all. Xx

Done! This time it was a bit more of a struggle to fit in 60 workouts. Life has opened back up with kids needing to be here, there, and everywhere; coupled with traveling more, I often did 2 workouts in a day to make up for missing days. But no matter what, I never finished a workout wishing I hadn’t spent that time doing exactly that. Thanks fam for inspiring and motivating me!

I woke up not feeling great, so I’m sad to report that I didn’t complete all 60 days yet, but I’m listening to my body and am looking forward to doing the microball class and last 60 minute class when I’m on the mend.

With that being said, I’m so grateful for this community and last 60 days. I feel stronger and more in tune with my body. While my body has changed, my mental toughness and awareness have evolved more than anything. Marine’s reverences always seem to meet me right where I am, and I could not be more thankful. I’m learning to meet my body where it’s at, change the negative thought processes, and be the observer, not the judge. Although this challenge is over, looking forward to sculpting, sweating & stretching in the months to come!

60 M/Body classes and 40 wellness activities later I’ve just completed my fourth M/Body Challenge!

I feel so grateful to have shared this journey with many of you. The last two months were quite challenging for my personal and working life and I decides to go for a 60days challenge to keep me focused on my wellbeing. To help me daily in finding a moment of peace, a space to take care of me. I’ve discovered that’s easier to go through hard times when you’re in a strong body and thanks to Marnie I am.

I am safe, I am well and I am enough.

Thank you for bringing light in my life, thank you for another inspiring challenge!

Claudia

PS: still not a plank person😆
