Far-flung MBody Fam! After many years seeing Mayo on the community board, I met this wonderful human being on our trip from London to Osaka for a hot bowl of Ramen 🍜. She can only be described as kick-ass and is a total inspiration in following your dreams, being yourself and making things happen. We spoke about our different lives, Japanese vs UK culture, the stories of our families, to-be children, and dreamed of doing an IRL Marnie class one day. This was my first IRL meet within the community and it was a real joy. This community really brings together inspirational women and good, positivity-radiating people. Keep doing them if you can! Anyone else in the UK who wants to meet some time over summer in London?

Hi, everyone! I had about a two month hiatus, and I missed my two year Marnie-versary! What a beautiful community and platform. Oh, how grateful I am for finding Marnie in a PopSugar video so I could finally join a fitness community I am still so passionate about two+ years later. Thank you, Marnie!

On a happy note, my absence was due to the fun of first trimester of pregnancy—nausea, exhaustion, etc. At this time last year, I was about to miscarry for the second time in a row. I’m happy to report that after three losses (two back-to-back), we made it through the first trimester and seemingly have a healthy pregnancy again. I’m so excited to move again and keep my body healthy while I grow this little one.

Thanks for making me feel loved and included, y’all. I never have been able to join the in-person events, but I’m so grateful for people making me feel like I belong here. Sending love to everyone! 💜

The latest healing 60 minute signature was really special - Marnie’s words inspired me to spend some time reflecting and just being. I realized that the practice of coming to the mat consistently has built not only physical strength and alignment, but also a feeling of peace with myself in my body. Today I stepped into the world feeling confident and content, felt the centering and joy of knowing I am caring for myself through movement. The community here is a blessing too - all love to you all! May we all grow and heal together!

Hiii globalfam! How are you all doing? 💜I haven’t been very active on the channel, so I decided to pop up and connect. Life has been crazy lately with so many new experiences, emotions and plans. I moved back from Mexico to Germany last year because I got a new job and had to spend one year away from my boyfriend, who had to stay because of his work. It wasn’t easy, but now it’s only two months before he comes home and we are both so relieved and happy! I am currently visiting him in Mexico City and saying goodbye to this place where we spent three years of our lives. Now it’s time to go home and stay home. What gets me through all of these times is Marnie and the global fam - so grateful for the safe space to be me and to explore movement. I am now missing a challenge, are you? 😍sending love 💜

Five Year Marnie-versary: Top 5 Lessons

This marker feels significant so I wanted to celebrate what M/Body lessons have changed my life. Whether you've been part of the Global Fam for 5 weeks, 5 months or 5+ years, here's what I would have shared with myself when I joined in May 2020.

  1. This workout is for you too. It is inclusive in all ways and one random day, the move that has been challenging for so long will suddenly become second nature.

  2. Good mood? Do the workout. Bad mood? Do the workout. I have started classes in all sorts of moods but I've ended classes only feeling refreshed and positive. Let your body help your mind.

  3. There is a lot of wisdom being offered in between the reps, take what you need. Some things that have stayed with me: no more compromises, you have someone who loves you, you are safe and you are well, we love a wiggle.

  4. I have become more honest, vulnerable and brave because I've spent over a thousand hours practicing those qualities on the mat. The work starts in our sacred space and then follows us out into the world.

  5. Here are my top forever 5 workouts: #40 Halloween, #74 Women's history, #279 Knock out boxing, #347 80's Greatest hits, #428 Mariah Carey Xmas.

After close to a decade of M/Body (&Barre Belle!) my thoughtful husband and sweet son gifted me a barre of my very own for Mothers Day! I’m so grateful for Marnie, the M/BODY team and this inspiring community. Just finished a 45 min barre sculpt and it was glorious, felt almost like the studio days! Cheers to even more fun at the mat!💕💕💕

From jumping at every sound during a workout last year to now sleeping through each session, the baby has come far 😊

We adopted her last April and she turned two this year. Glad she feels at home ❤️
