Happy third day of Christmas/second day of Kwanzaa to the fam from snowy NYC! I had the privilege of transporting a spunky little dog named Guava from Pug Nation Rescue of L.A. He spent the holiday with my family before heading to a foster home, courtesy of Pug Rescue of New England. Pugs make everything more wonderful!

I just got a lovely reminder that my puggy in heaven still has a post on this platform getting likes (thank you!).

And since the M/Body fam loves our furbabies, I will share that I’m a volunteer at Pug Nation Rescue of L.A., and we have plenty of pugs, pug mixes and pug-adjacents looking for homes.

The Ewoks in the first pic were just saved from a shelter; I am the honorary pug parent (HiPPo) to the two puglets sharing the car seat in the second (I take them on outings once per week); and the last little puglet was born at the rescue along with siblings that are still available (I transported this one to the East Coast to go into foster through another rescue) — get this: a pug/pittie mix!

Zelda (aka “Zeldy” aka “Ms. Pugglesworth” aka “Zeldisha Damita Jo Pugglesworth”) has been an M/Body stan since she first witnessed me taking a class (not too long after she became my “pandemic puppy”) and dragged herself over to me and rested her chin on my chest during back dancing. She sends you all greetings, some side-eye and lots of judgement.❤️❤️❤️
