Wooooooooo girl!!! This workout was such a joyous celebration of Dolly and the power of strong women showing up and showing out.

Wow! I don’t know you Faith but I “know” you through M/Body and I always thought of you as that badass rock and roll girl. Turns out you’re even more badass than I knew. What courage to say out loud all the things and what a gift to be able to turn feelings into songs. Remember that 60 min where Marnie talks about us always wanting the heat of summer but that we need all the seasons? I hope that you emerge from this season of hardship into the light.

What I find extra valuable about the 60 min classes is that between the choreo and the music and Marnie’s words of encouragement and teaching, I have to be present. It may take a few minutes to get there but it tends to stick not just through the class but after. That’s why I loved when Marnie would say “you are safe and you are well.” I don’t know if this is of service but four sentences I got from a Headspace meditation help me too:

What a lovely thought - my intention is laidback August. Every week, I’m giving myself one day to do something fun so that that I feel the joy of the end of summer.
