I woke up heavy today. I want my brothers, my nephews, my son, my grandsons, my uncles, my cousins, my friends, and my students to live. Systematic racism and societal conditioning has made Black boys and men the victims of violent hate from others and from those that have self hate. My prayers, love and comfort go out to the family of Tyre Nichols. I don’t know how our ancestors endured so much trauma. 🖤🖤🖤🤎🤎🤎♥️♥️♥️

I’ve been really good about drinking my lemon water first thing in the morning 👏👏 But there’s some days I forget until later… I end up still drinking it but sometimes after coffee & breakfast and sometimes in the afternoon… my thought is it’s better that not at all, right??
