I was looking forward to this live session the whole day. I am a communication trainer in Austria 🇦🇹, I m working for big industries worldwide, running my own business… being emphatic all day, helping people reaching their communication goals is energy draining, cause you always give parts of yourself in trainings too 🫶🏼. With Marnie‘s live sessions and YOU my GLOBAL FAM, I can really recharge and focus on myself, my body and soul while we are working out together ! 🤸🏼💗 this is joy and cure at the same time for me! xxx Nina

Needed this challenge to motivate me to get moving again. Especially opening up hips since I am carpooling kids all day, everyday!🤪 Thank you, Marnie for your windshield analogy. It couldn’t have come at a better time! I love all of your quotes. Complete gems.

I’ve seen so many posts saying that this is your first challenge. I wanted to share my experience with past challenges. And how the extra wellness activities specifically in the challenge have benefited me.

I’ve only ever completed 2 out of the 7 challenges we’ve had. And that’s ok! There is nothing wrong with stopping midway or adjusting your schedule to suit your needs.

The extra wellness activities I still have in my daily routine are :

Drinking lemon water (I actually crave it now. I drink it with warm water in the winter).

Doing the warm up shakes and the little runs and stretches every morning right after I get up. This helps release my jaw and shoulders that I know get during my sleep because of various stressors. It gives me a a big positive boost to start the day and it only takes about 3 minutes.

Journaling. Ok I’ve always loved journaling. But it’s so therapeutic that even when I’m tired I write about my stressors in the evening.

Challenging negative thoughts. This is my favourite. When Marnie says “learn that it’s ok to be uncomfortable, learn you can still be safe and strong.” As someone diagnosed with anxiety, this is a powerful statement, one my therapists have used before. It just makes it sink into your bones even deeper when Marnie says it while you are working out and getting stronger.

Meditating& practicing gratitude. “We expand in the areas we are grateful for,” - Marnie workout 150. Even when there’s chaos around you. I’m fortunate that I work from home most of the time while my partner works away from home so I have lots of space to sit quietly and work on gratitude (it’s a challenge even when there’s peace and quiet!).

Learning it’s ok to stumble and fall. Still working on this one. I’ll let you know how it goes heehee.

Tldr: you’ve come to the best place in the world, for your body and mind. I love Marnie, this community and the challenges, regardless of whether or not I complete them.

Welcome! ❤️

Also the standing core dance is one of my fave workouts EVER. I have done it at least 16 times. I can almost do it without watching the video lol. It is so lovely, challenging in the right way, the words at the end are just so special “feel accomplished. Bring that into your body and being”. I love that! Thanks Marnie!

Hi! I can’t believe I did class 227 after a long day at work. I was convinced that I could not do it… I learned that a lot of like is mind over matter.

I was missing the rolling hangovers so much, with a lose hair... and legs were shaking all the way on that plié/relevé/ second position... all the way!!!

Looking forward to this challenge! I caught Covid at the end of July and I’ve been recovering the last few months (bad fatigue and shortness of breath). I’ve hardly been able to work out or even to walk, but I’m finally getting stronger every week. I think this challenge is exactly what is needed to focus and motivate to get back on track. A great way to ease into the holidays. Thank you Marnie and team for putting this one together! Xx

PPD/PPA Trigger warning

I am SO thankful for the last 2 years (!!) of being a part of the M/Body community. In the last year, I have struggled with postpartum anxiety & depression. Thanks to prayer, my in person community, therapy, and these amazing healing workouts and community, I am thankful to have made a ton of progress. But growth does not always happen in a straight line. This last weekend (day 2 of the challenge), we almost lost my one year old daughter - she choked and was unable to breathe for long enough that she had gone limp. We prayed, and thank God, she is alive and well. However, it has definitely set me back in my healing process. All this to say - I am SO thankful for this challenge and this healing space, as it truly is so helpful in my mental, emotional, physical and spiritual healing. And if you have struggled with PPD/PPA, you are not alone, and I have seen progress before & I know I will again, and you will too. Whatever life throws at us, I am grateful we are all here for each other. ♥️

Hi fam! I was camping last weekend so I missed the first couple days of the challenge but I am super excited to get started! I’ll be going for 45/60 workouts this time around. This is my 6th challenge!! I cant believe how far I’ve (and the whole global fam!) have come since the first challenge in May of 2020! My super goals for this challenge are:

  1. Get to bed on time so I can get up on time to do my workouts!

  2. Enjoy/prioritize the shorter workouts! I’m a 60 minute junkie and tend to be an “all or nothing” person (which lately has meant a lot of nothing). A quick trip to the mat is better than no trip to the mat!

  3. Work on my push-ups. I lost a lot of ground last winter after injuring my elbow. Time to get some strength back!
