Did the 60 min as my catch up felt like an emotional one for me. Late to the party with my goals but here they are-

  • working out first thing. hopefully with a little meditation before.

  • more paper books less screen time (except you guys)

  • cherishing the time I have with the people I love

With this beautiful summer challenge comes a new challenge and powerful journey for me. I have decided that May 9th was my last day of colouring my hair. I will stick to clear professional gloss and treatments. I am so curious to see what lies beneath and to let my true colors shine through! I feel amazing with this decision and I'm ready to embrace my greys! " Aging" with attitude, grace and strength. Combined with my Mbody workouts, my new slow living mentality, my good relationship with food and my overall outlook to life, love and selfwoth....I feel like it just connects all the dots. I might still play with a bit of color on the ends sometimes... AKA pink or purple through my transition ( I am a Libra after all). To be continued!!

Hi everyone! I’ve been keeping up with the exercises but have been at the beach on vacation with my family so haven’t had time to post. Better late than never!

  1. Talk to myself like I would to my daughter or best friend. Be better at nurturing myself.

  2. Work on strengthening my wrists. I have a hard time holding planks or other moves like that because of the pain in my wrists.

  3. Commit to 5 workouts a week( even though it might be hard during summer break).

So….. the balance is currently in favor of this little nugget and I’m ok with that (she needs me and I know she is only this tiny for such a short time). I have yet to make to the mat since starting our challenge on Saturday, lol. Tomorrow for sure! And definitely Saturday since my hubby will be home to help.

I was just cleared to start working out again after a miscarriage, and wow…just, wow. I had been missing Marnie and these workouts, and coming back did not disappoint. On a day of hormone-caused sadness and feeling like my body was a failure, Marnie helped fill me with light. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m so excited to continue on with the summer challenge and to be able to move again.

I’ve been pushing myself for a 5 times per week workout schedule this month- with many of y’all joining in✨🙌- but I couldn’t achieve it this week…

We went camping for Father’s Day weekend and then I had to work… leaving me without enough time to get in all 5…

I was actually really bummed about it until my sweet, supportive, amazing hubby reminded me “babe, Marnie would be happy you spent time with your family and you have been killing it with your workouts all month- give yourself a break” and all I could think was HOW MUCH this beautiful platform has infiltrated my home oh so much! They hear all the incredible things that happen during my workouts and it shows 🥰 Thank you for this space✨✨❣️❣️

Friends!! Question for you: Do any of you work in strategic partners? For my new job I am formalizing our program and I’d like to know what other companies, orgs, and/or non-profits do in terms of an “application” or interest/intake form, vetting or approvals, perks, what engagement looks like, etc.

Hey fam! How is it going so far? 

Today, it was so challenging for me to stay on the mat that I attempted today's class twice and it was the second time around that I completed the entire workout from start to finish. 

Learning to ride the wave has been my biggest takeaway from participating in these challenges; some days the motivation is there and everything feels spot on, while some days you have to practice discipline and give yourself grace. Knowing that motivation comes and goes has strengthened my will to practice daily and keep the spirit of play alive. (Embracing the "I get to") That keeps me showing up/coming back lol  Therefore, today was bit messy, my movement wasn't sharp and at times I was chasing the choreo and that's alright in my book. 

I hope you are all doing well! And if you are having any difficulties, I hear yah! We're in this together. 

What ways do you keep yourself discipline and on track when the motivation seems far way? I'd love to hear what you have to say!
