I just did one of the recordings and at the end there is a special moment where Marnie gets a bday gift and she sobs with deep gratitude - you can see her soul shine through everything she does or says. Here is a poem I wrote last year. I dedicate it to Marnie.

Happy October fam 🎃
This is my favorite month because it's my BIRTHDAY month! I'll be celebrating my 34th birthday October 12th! 🎂 Plus, October 28th is my 2 year wedding anniversary 💕 Along with fall foliage, crisp apples, pumpkin spice, and Halloween, there's so much to celebrate.
Following this month's theme of RELEASE, I hope to let go of the baggage and re-lease (like renew) my love for life, beauty, and all the little things that bring me joy. We're in the midst of a kitchen remodel and it feels good to let go of the past and bring in fresh life to the space. It's been a wonderful reminder to my interior designer side. ✨️

It's my wedding anniversary today! 7 years married and almost 23 years together. 💕 He's my person, my love, my best friend, my bodyguard, my cheerleader and so so so much more!

Fall Challenge 2024! 

Hello Fam! Popping on the board to commit to this challenge! My goal is 5 workouts per week, and if I do more, I will consider them a bonus. I always go for the maximum number, so I'm challenging myself in a new way, trying to embody the theme of release. 

In addition to the wellness activities (particularly love sunlight before screens and the lymph massage), I've set a few for myself:

  • Channel this month's theme of release to release judgement of self (particularly limiting critical words I say to myself) and expectations for the future. 

  • No electronics in the bedroom before bed

  • Lie on the floor and breathe each night before sleep (have started doing this recently, and it's such a grounding, relaxing feeling)

Upcoming Challenge!! 

Is anyone else excited for the upcoming challenging this Autumn season?? I am so pumped! There is something about the challenge that brings a sense of order and grounding into my days. I thrive when there is a goal and a focus! 

Will there be any new challengers? If so, welcome!!

For any returning challengers, what would you like to bring to table this time around/what do you like about the challenge? How do you like to prepare? What inspires you?  I'd love to hear it if you'd like to share. 

Each challenge I have gained a positive habit, and I'd like to keep that up! I love to show you all support and the support this G-Fam has given me is absolutely comforting. Thank you!  Honestly, it's pretty difficult to give up when there is positive support a long with witnessing your journeys as well. 

All in all, I've been mentally preparing and I'm just so thrilled I couldn't contain it. Thank you!!

Hi fam 🤍

Just wanted to say thank you for all the love yesterday on the live and throughout the last few days. Thankfully we were safe during the storm and had very minimal damage (4 days without power, having to throw away everything in our fridge etc). We still have some friends without power, no school all week, and a lot of clean up still happening in our city - so many houses, cars, and favorite places were hit by falling trees. On Friday 97% of the city was without power, with no working stoplights for a couple days so it was a chaotic time.

Asheville is just an hour from us and compared to the devastation they are experiencing I know this is minor. But it meant so much to me that you took the time to send love our way.

I’m thankful for this community and all the ways we show up for each other. 🤍

Here’s me and one of my minis having some cereal by candlelight during the storm. Our table is by the windows so we did a picnic on the floor instead.

One thought I had would be so helpful for the future for anyone going through a period of not having power and having to conserve battery on their devices - it would be so cool to have even just one or two workouts with instructions in written form that we could pull out for a quick destress. I really missed moving with you all!
