Happy Challenge Day 1, fam! Today’s live was fiery, flowy and grounded. Feel so good to be back. I was joined on the mat by my mom, Martine, and when she heard Marnie’s callout at the end of class she laughed and said “yeah Victoria’s mama is jello!” but there was no mistaking the afterglow! 🥰She’ll be back. We’re hoping to keep each other accountable throughout this challenge and consistently get to the mat. “We owe it to ourselves” and she’s completely right.
My goals for this challenge are simple, but will take some resolve and determination to see it through:
✅Consistency - I’m not committing to an exact # of workouts and have framed the goal to be consistent, steady commitment, checking in with my body to listen to what it needs
âś…Prioritizing sleep - limiting my screen time at night, making time to read and pushing myself to make art again. The light is coming back, and I want to embody that in several facets of my non-work life.
âś…Prioritizing hydration - a habit that feels less intuitive in winter but is so important for adrenals, skin, and overall health
This weekend I’m going to also find a permanent space for my barre!! It’s been sitting in the box for at least 6 months! Time to create a dedicated, motivating workout space!
