Away from home this week for work and missing my little workout buddy (notice the ball in the background!).
30 minute stretch flow was just what was needed today. After a few days off due to a cold running through our household this was the perfect workout!
Our latest challenge board has dropped! What workouts are you excited for?!
For Day 23’s activity, a pic of something beautiful, I took a photo of the hot chocolate and millionaire shortbread I enjoyed that afternoon in the independent, family run chocolate shop that, over the years, has become a home away from home. Enjoying a treat there is a must for my Saturday afternoon, ready for our M/BODY live class in the evening.
I wrote down something I am letting go of on Day 22 but did not share it so I am sharing it today. So far in this challenge I have surprised myself by completing two activities that I anticipated I would have been unable to do. I have compiled a list of my ta-da’s and written down one thing that I love about myself. The fact that I have managed to complete these activities has brought me to the realisation that I have begun to let go of my inability to see myself in a positive light.
Well it’s official, I have tendinitis in my right arm! Yay! So what this means is no straight arm planks, push ups or weights until it’s under control! Bring on the modifications!!!
Yesterday was my first day of PT. Has anyone had dry needling done before? I have had it done before but never in my arm - it hurt a lot but hopefully it helps moving forward!!!
First - I appreciate how nice and legible everyone else’s notes are compared to mine ha! This has been a busy week at our house with the biggest great thing being I got a new job offer. I’ll still be working at Nike but I get to go back to working in Nike kids. My job is a little undefined still but one of the areas I get to investigate is how to get kids and parents more involved in sport which is definitely a passion of mine so I’m really excited!! And then my husband who also works at Nike found out he has a second interview for an elevated role so we’re thinking all the good thoughts for him too!!
Finally came across something that just took my breath away and I felt the need to share it for the something beautiful challenge! Oh my goodness there’s nothing like seeing spring flowers after a dreary winter. Especially in an urban area where so much is gray, I turned the corner on our afternoon walk and was just gobsmacked. I hope these images bring you all joy, and remind you that even the bleakest of situations can bloom into something beautiful.
Hey fam! Reading your list has been so inspiring & uplifting. Thank you. Last week I was feeling "meh" and when I reflected on the week my entire perspective changed. Cheers to all of us.
Posting my 5 great things that happened for Day 37 wellness activity. Number 2 was a big one for me, I’ve always been so self conscious of my stomach and only wore loose maxi style dresses. Finally wore a tight fitting dress and got sooooo many compliments ☺️
