NEW THEME + ACTIVITY INTRO 

Happy April and month of Creativity! For this new season, we’re going to try something fresh — each week there will be a fun activity posted on the Community Board. Every activity is designed to nurture your creativity and growth.

We also encourage you to get a journal and explore doing longhand, stream-of-consciousness writing every morning — no judgment, no expectations, just whatever lands on the page (try to aim for 15 minutes).

We'd love to be a part of your journey, so please comment and share your experience here as inspiration 🤍

I've been out of balance for a few months, trying to catch my breath and find peace from within. My mind, body, heart and soul have been feeling the repercussions of accumulated stress. I've come back to the mat lately and feeling the presence of this community, hearing Marnie's words of wisdom, melting over the puppies and yes moving my body have helped me find my path to healing. Even the subtle tinkling of my feet the day after a workout reminds me that I'm alive and that I get to walk on mother earth. The openness of my heart reminds me that I get to love myself and others. The fire in my core reminds me that I am strong and that I can get through anything. The Wiggles and little aches remind me that I can achieve greatness. Thank you Marnie , thank you mbodyonline for sharing your creativity and love. Grâce à vous je me sens vivante! Xo

I'll have to catch the 5 year anniversary class on the flippy flop which bums me out. 5 Years of working out virtually with this fantastic G/Family, and Marnie for 11 years, makes me so whole I can't describe it. but you guys know. I'm getting verklempt.. Have a wonderful Wonderful live experience. Marnie, you know how I feel about you, you goddess you. I am missing the live to attend the City of 29 Palms Strategic Planning Session and try to, among other things, convince the city manager not to give away precious resources and land to developments who will harm the natural flora and fauna of Joshua Tree National Park and surrounding areas. Why it's on a Saturday from 10-3? ..Desert style.  Remember to Breathe.  Open your eyes and look in to the light. xo

‼️ TODAY’S LIVE IS RESCHEDULED

Gfam! We’ve been dealing with technical difficulties and unfortunately will have to postpone our Power Sculpt workout to next Wednesday! We have been working with our tech team to get it resolved as soon as possible and we will be ready for Saturday’s 45 min Signature!

I was able to do my first workout today in about three months due to a very rough start to my pregnancy! So nice to have some energy back and be able to ease back into exercise - I missed it. The pregnancy filter is great, but would love to hear any other pregnancy faves from the mamas in the group :)

CREATIVITY ACTIVITY #2: Creativity Date

Take yourself on a creativity date.

This week is all about rediscovering your creative playfulness.

Some creativity date inspo:

  • Head to the Dollar Store and buy tiny things like gold stars, sequins, or pom poms and just go crazy!

  • Take yourself out to a movie.

  • Get a coloring book.

  • Check out a free museum.

  • Make a wildflower bouquet.

  • Go on a nature walk and collect pretty rocks.

It doesn't need to be extravagant or expensive. It just needs to feel like something special and specific to YOU.

Remember, the point of this date is to have fun and connect with your inner child.

CREATIVITY ACTIVITY #1: Blurts and Affirmations

Make a blurts and affirmation list.

Blurts are any negative or self-critical thoughts that surface when you unleash your creativity. Your affirmations counteract these blurts by replacing them with positive, empowering statements that reshape your internal narrative. 

Examples:

  • Blurt: I always mess things up.

    • Affirmation: I am learning and growing every day.

  • Blurt: What I want doesn’t matter.

    • Affirmation: My desires and dreams are important.

  • Blurt: You’re just wasting your time.

    • Affirmation: Every creative act I pursue enriches my life.

The practice of replacing blurts with positive affirmations leverages neuroplasticity and can re-train our brain, turning negative self-talk into empowering beliefs!

Hi fam! I just had such a powerful workout experience I have to share! Fullbody flow 380.I have something going on which is causing me such anxiety and as soon as I got into the workout I felt this big rush of anger. And I kind of realised that as a 'nice girl' this is not an emotion I really allow myself to be in so it was getting all twisted up as out of control anxiety. The situation is still a mess but at least now I am not all knotted up and there is something about this anger energy which is very dynamic and maybe what I need to sort stuff out. Those are my thoughts! plus I get a shout in workout 380 which is always nice 😍

Don’t we always say cardio dance has slumber party energy?? 😉 We had a rough start to this Friday morning but the latest cardio dance really gave me such a great endorphin boost. Hope everyone has a good weekend! ♥️
