Such a joyful class with an unbelievable playlist. 75%ish standing with creative core and hip work with weights! Lots of great balletic glute and thighs that keeps you focused, present and feeling graceful, but there's also lots of playful dance and opportunities to really feel into the beat. I was very sweaty by the end of this one!!

I love this era so much. I'm going to be smiling no matter what. But here are some of my faves!

The Safety Dance always makes me smile, Billy Idol "Eyes Without a Face", "never let me down" by depeche mode, "Push It" by Salt-n-Pepa, "West End Girls" by Pet Shop Boys

Echo every single comment from below. Fun new songs and some fun new choreo. I did this AFTER having done the 45 minute standing sweat (481), and the insight about our knees in THAT video gave me a lot to think about in this one. I'm realizing how tough inner thigh work is for me even though I would swear they're pretty strong! I'll be utilizing that ball a whole lot more to get my outer thighs to trust the strength of my inner ones. And squeezing my butt during core engagement?! 🤯 I feel like I'm entering a whole new world of PLAY with my body. Thank you, Marnie❤️

This was a really nice quickie that still brings on some sweat, and at one point or another, ALL my muscles were engaged. We use weights for the majority of class, which is always a great reminder for me to drop my shoulders down my back instead of up around my ears. As an added bonus--oh my lord, as soon as that Savage Garden song came on....how do I still know all those words? Happy early birthday, Leah!!

Really feel you on listening to and not pushing your body, Ali. Thank you for helping me feel less alone!

Worlds best description. No one does it (or life!) like you, Monique!

What a delight to have my name called out even though it wasn't me! This is a very fun very challenging very bouncy sweat class. As such, we don't stay in any one sequence too long, which keeps the mind occupied and the body moving. Nothing is too complicated or tricky, just sweaty! If you're like me and consider those glute bridges to be more workout than cooldown (my brain is weird and likes to know), those end just before the 54 minute mark. Enjoy this one!
