I'm so glad Marnie mentioned the very even, balanced BPMs of this class because I felt so embodied and so "within myself" (if that makes sense) during this class. There was new choreo and familiar choreo, half on our feet, half on the floor, all body parts equally attended to. I don't know how else to describe this class but perfectly balanced. I got sweaty but I never felt out of control or like I needed to stop. There was joy and so much beautiful messaging from Marnie throughout. Really really lovely

Gosh, this class is so many good things. Some light bouncing options about 1/2 way through, but otherwise a strong and grounded class that brings posture and arm joy! I used 5 lbs for the whole class but am now curious if I could have gone up to my 8s for that final kneeling series. SO excited for this month's theme. HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kady Riley who deserves all the celebration and sending enormous love and healing radiance to Jenny Groener with a reminder that she (and none of us) is not alone ❤️

This lovely class feels like an intermediate yoga class or an extra slow sculpt to me. Moments of stretch are preempted by static lunges and slow plies as well as some open-position hip series movements down on all fours. I still got a little dewy with this one! And I walked away with warmer and more open hips :)

I just did the spooky halloween workout (because yes please halloween all the time) and heard Marnie's sweet shoutout to how extraordinary and present Kady and Yvonne have been from day one. Thank you for sharing this with us, you two. YOU ROCK!!

This was a really lovely one. I might even call it an M/Body Ball Jr. experience :). Lots of really slow, thoughtful and PRESENT choreography that feels intense and sculpt-y, but I didn't feel the need to take a ton of breaks, which was super satisfying. Short weighted arm series using turnout and standing ab/oblique work. Some fun new standing barre/ball work that had me very focused. Particularly fiery core series on the floor (pushing against that bent leg while lying on the back always feels like a major challenge to me!). I love a good 45-min signature, and this one does not disappoint. Plus we did cardio dance to "I Believe in a Thing Called Love", and there were so many wonderful Global Fam celebrations happening so....DELIGHT ensues!

Leah! I got off social media several years ago and can honestly say it was the right decision for me. People seem so shocked when I tell them, and to be honest, sometimes, I worry that means I'm missing out on something. Opportunities for connection or exposure or or or or...and maybe I'm right! But I also know that my comparison muscle was so much stronger than any kind of self-love I had when I was active on social media, and I can't imagine that wouldn't come right back online if it had the opportunity. I still get caught in YouTube holes or in streaming binges. In other words, that kind of compulsivity has certainly found other outlets, but I am aware of it and doing what I can to address it in a way that doesn't feel like I always have to be  up-to-date and reacting to other people's stuff. I've got my own stuff to work on :)
