Missed doing the lives with the Fam but was able to complete 42/60 - goal was 30. Definitely was a challenging summer in a multitude of ways. Congrats to all who were able to complete workouts - no matter the number or frequency!

Cheers to all during endings, beginnings, and rerouting of this wild time.
Summer of Strong was my third M/BODY Challenge- and I moved classes around, substituted, and didn’t complete the #s I set for myself:
goal: at least 45 classes and all 60 wellness activities
vs.
reality: 38 classes and 54 wellness activities
It’s been such a busy, transitional time. My takeaways are I feel better and do better when I get to the mat more consistently (any time of day or evening/night); the numerous benefits of sleep make it worth the effort to prioritize; I am inspired to find my new rythym of re-committing to consistency with my new schedule.
31/60. My original goal was 45/60 but this challenge was a lesson in balance. I’ve always tended towards an “all or nothing” mindset, especially with my fitness. Either it’s the hardest workout or it’s no workout at all. When I knew I wasn’t going to hit 45/60 due to a busy summer schedule with lots of travel, I was tempted to quit the challenge all together. But this time I didn’t. I modified. I’m thankful for a fam that is joyous and supportive and thankful for Marnie who always provides modifications!
Wow! That was amazing. Thanks so much Marnie and G Fam for challenging and inspiring me. Being on this journey with all of you has been truly amazing and a blessing 💕. I ended up completing 59 of 60 workouts. That included 44 M/body and outdoor cycling too. Since it was my first challenge, I focused on the workouts. Next time I hope to incorporate more of the wellness activities. Congrats to everyone who made it to the mat (no matter how many times). Xo
Hi Fam! My boards look wimpy but I feel super proud of myself. I did the best I could, it has been a crazy summer. Much love to you all!
The Summer Of Strong 60 Day Challenge is complete! I achieved 60 days, completing all the workouts and 50 activities.
I end this challenge feeling very grateful for it, as I have done with each of the previous challenges I have completed. While I was lucky to start this challenge from a place of consistency with my workouts, I did rediscover a few workouts I love that I may not have chosen to complete otherwise. The activities are always where I feel I experience the most growth. This challenge this was especially true for the goal setting activities. I chose to go back to basics when setting my 3 goals at the beginning and feel this was a good decision. Their simplicity meant that they were less overwhelming to engage with and allowed space for them to evolve. I always love completing a challenge alongside Mum (Yvonne) and this challenge we enjoyed adopting each other’s goals along the way. I remain happy with my goals and am going to continue working with them in the coming months.
Congratulations Fam! I have loved being on this journey with you and am already looking forward to joining you all again for the next one!
Hi M/body fam! I wanted to dance with you all live but I ended up going to see the BARBIE movie (I waited so I could go on my birthday 🥳) it was SO freaking good!!! So I’m catching the replay for a “birthday barre” sesh this afternoon. Love to you all 🩷🩷🩷
Had to take a photo and wear this pink heart gem ring (my hands a bit weird in picture…) but so fun!!
Thank you Marnie! Congratulations to the Fam & my (grown up) mini Kady!
I wanted to reintroduce myself to all of you and thank you for the last two years with m/body. My family is in the middle of a big transition (which is why my last name has changed) and while it’s hard I’m so grateful for this space and excited for the future. I really credit Marnie’s constant reminder to check in with myself (on and off the mat!) because it gave me permission to focus on me - something that was surprisingly hard as a new mom in a pandemic. This pic is from my last workout of the SUMMER OF STRONG Challenge and the smile says it all. Thank you, Marnie, for everything you do!!
