Coming back to this beautiful platform after being away a couple months.

Excited to see all the new faces as well as the OG members again.

Just wanted to share my goals with you all and wish you a happy challenge.

Starting my day with a Kilner jar of lemon water is a habit I would like to return to as it used to be one of my favourites. Since I am not currently in a position to simply jump back into it (I am saving Day 5’s activity for later in the challenge) I have decided to set myself the goal for this week of taking a step in the right direction by drinking a glass of water as soon as I wake up every day.

This round of challenge is really teaching adaptation, as life continues to change and flow. Finding myself unable to make lives as much as I could in those early challenges, but I made it today! It was an absolute pleasure to work my brain with that initial barre combo, right in the thick of all of you people and your amazing energy!! Have a good Wednesday friends 🥰

For this, my 6th 60 Day Challenge, I am committing to completing 60 workouts, 45 of which will be selected from the challenge boards. With previous challenges I have both benefitted from and enjoyed fully immersing myself in the challenge. However I am starting this challenge from a place of finding joy in choosing a video and getting to the mat and feel that this is something I would like to bring with me into this challenge. Committing to completing 45 challenge board workouts allows me to benefit from the challenge curriculum whilst also providing me with 15 opportunities to choose a video from the catalogue. It is also my hope that this method will make it easier to return to my current routine when this challenge is complete. Since the activities are an aspect of a challenge in which I have previously experienced the most growth, I am committing to completing as many activities as I am able to, with a minimum goal of 45.

Prior to the start of this challenge I experienced a few weeks in which my panic disorder was at it’s worst. I therefore wanted to choose challenge goals that would both be of benefit to me after this period and still be achievable if things became difficult again. This led me to the following goals:

Do 1 thing that brings me joy each day.

Complete 1 breathwork class each week.

Typically stretch classes are the ones I find the most challenging. In the past this has meant that I only completed a stretch class if it was LIVE or scheduled in a challenge but in recent months I have been working to change this. In order to continue with my progress, my final challenge goal is:

Keep up with my routine of completing 1 stretch class each week.

Hi everyone! I’ve been keeping up with the exercises but have been at the beach on vacation with my family so haven’t had time to post. Better late than never!

  1. Talk to myself like I would to my daughter or best friend. Be better at nurturing myself.

  2. Work on strengthening my wrists. I have a hard time holding planks or other moves like that because of the pain in my wrists.

  3. Commit to 5 workouts a week( even though it might be hard during summer break).

With this beautiful summer challenge comes a new challenge and powerful journey for me. I have decided that May 9th was my last day of colouring my hair. I will stick to clear professional gloss and treatments. I am so curious to see what lies beneath and to let my true colors shine through! I feel amazing with this decision and I'm ready to embrace my greys! " Aging" with attitude, grace and strength. Combined with my Mbody workouts, my new slow living mentality, my good relationship with food and my overall outlook to life, love and selfwoth....I feel like it just connects all the dots. I might still play with a bit of color on the ends sometimes... AKA pink or purple through my transition ( I am a Libra after all). To be continued!!

Did the 60 min as my catch up felt like an emotional one for me. Late to the party with my goals but here they are-

  • working out first thing. hopefully with a little meditation before.

  • more paper books less screen time (except you guys)

  • cherishing the time I have with the people I love

Kisses to the fam!! For anyone who has the means, highly recommend switching a couple lightbulbs to those “smart bulbs” that can change colors! I think others have mentioned the same thing, but doing this has really elevated the vibe when working out ❤️ Plus, it’s fun to yell out to google “change to RED” when it’s time, LOL. Happy challenge to everyone and happy summer! Xoxo

I try to go outside everyday with the girls to enjoy and be in nature, to let them run and scream without me having to say “inside voices” lol. I know it’s good for them and often forget how good it is for me too!
