They are absolutely perfect for ‘those days’…I will use them appropriately as I do not want to make them a habit! LOL. Gotta have the <30/45/60 in my regular lineup.

Alyssa Klein Sorry, the other reply was at max characters. I am months away from my 70th birthday and now starting to suffer from arthritis in my cervical spine. HOWEVER, that has not stopped me from my activities - M/Body, surfing, weight training. I am happy to answer any more questions you have but I don’t want to bore you. Be good to yourself, take epsom salt baths as needed and keep moving. Sending healing love.

Alyssa Klein I swear we are kindred cervical spiners. For me it’s the C3-C4 and C5-C6. I took a knee to my occipital that caused the injury almost 20 years ago. I have been dealing with it. Due to the proximity to my occipital, i suffer from ‘constant motion’ where my brain tries to resolve it. This causes my body to ‘shut down’ whereby I am drained, nauseous, and on bad days, I have benign positional vertigo. On June 11, 2024 (almost a year ago), I was re-injured - not sure how and suffered from burning in my neck, both arms, and quads. This happens in my sleep when I lie prone. It was frightening the first time. Once I got a clean bill of health (not my heart or stroke), I most recently learned to ignore it and continue doing my PT to make more space in my spine and neck. The tingling and numbness went away after about 4-5 weeks. I see a kinesiologist now who does muscular alignment and massages away the old scar tissue. This has been a godsend. Plus she provides me with a slew of exercises.

Just keep loving yourself. It’s a long hard road and nobody has the magic pill to make it all better. Love the uniqueness in you, be good to yourself. Enjoy the memories for they last forever! Look to the sun to see the light. Even in this crazy world there is love all around you.

Alyssa, I am so sorry to hear about your cervical spine.  I too have the exact same herniated discs, with no plans for surgery. When I read your description with the tingling, etd. I thought you had been here with me! Like you, I have found ways to manage it. I can perform all of the exercises within M/Body workouts except crunches. I turn to planky stuff for that portion of the workout. I wish you continued healing…Take your time. Do what feels right. Be a good listener to your body and honor it. Most importantly, be good to yourself.

It’s ok to mourn the loss of your loved one’s. Nobody has a secret formula so honor yourself by allowing the moments to play out. Be good to yourself. Know there is suppor all around you. Love and light. Cherish the memories. Eternal hugs for you.

This was recorded in 2026? Maybe? Perhaps the title could use an update to the year? Sorry, I’m a nerd.

Loved the controlled movements with additional weight. This was perfection (for me). Thank you Marnie & Team.
