Hello! Just joined M/Body today and I'm really excited to try my first workout here. I did barre for a few years, pilates and bodyweight hiit, so I'm really hopeful since it seems like these sessions fuse a lot of different styles together. Glad to be here 😊

if others in the fam are happy for it! I know we’ve had it before, but January is such a dark month, and I’ve always struggled in the UK with the winters but January is soooo difficult. The celebrations of December are over and there’s just… nothing.

Hello Lovely Fam - I’m sad to say that I’ve been seeing doctors regarding my back, and they’ve discovered that in addition to the scoliosis I have three herniated discs - they’ve instructed me to do only physical therapy prescribed exercises, swimming and walking for the next 18 months to two years to allow for full healing and hopefully avoid surgery. So, no M/BODY for a long while. I’m really working hard to not have a flare up - it’s been 7 weeks so far with no problems (very good compared to recent trends for me). Only 93 more weeks to go! Anyway, I’ll be checking back in once I get the okay from the doctors - hope M/BODY is still going strong in 2 years! Love and light to all of you!
Happy Holidays to my M/Body Fam ❤️ I’ve been missing my workouts so much! I’m 3 weeks post-op and everything went great, still recovering and I look forward to jumping back in the second week of the New Year and kicking off 2024 strong!! Enjoy your holiday season and loved ones!
Yay, I recently received the regular and mini sized M/Body Movement Balls! I did a quick search on this board and in the FAQs but couldn't find information on how much to inflate each ball? This may all be down to personal preference, but wondering if they should be sufficiently inflated or a little soft. Thank you!😀

I miss you guys!! I've been overworking, overthinking, overwhelmed, under sleeping, unbalanced and therefore more vulnerable to stress, colds, tiredness and consequently coming less to the mat! Awww the vicious cycle! I'm taking this coming Monday off of work, so I will dedicate these 4 days ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday) to reprogram my brain to gently come back to the mat on a regular basis. I have realized that a daily practice, wether it be a 10 min stretch/ meditation or a 60 min signature, is what keeps me balanced, joyful, less stressed and more positive! hi everyone! gill and i took a break from being in m/body lives in favor of heading back to the gym (we were traveling every weekend between october and last weekend, it was easier than finding a place to do an mbody class)! however, as we enter the holiday season, something that’s really important to me is protecting my peace.
my therapist and i had a conversation about the importance of not ✨over doing it✨ because of my history of mental health issues. getting back into a regular routine with the gfam is one of the big things we talked about as a way to protect myself from overdoing it. looking forward to ringing in the holidays with all of you as we go through this time!!!
