I use my piano as my barre and I got a strip of changeable LED lights today and put them on the back of the piano… now I can change my lights along with M/Body!! Such an easy little project but I’m SO excited😁

This little girl almost quit her dancing because of the awful words of an adult. She works so hard and wants to go to Julliard someday. I can't believe that people can be so nasty. She however did not quit and has turned her hurt into drive. She loves watching me do the m/body workouts and that Marnie is a dancer. It has given her more hope and happiness to see this. She love seeing the post and all th motivation. So thank you to this community for helping even when you didn't know you were.
Hi everyone! I wanted to share with you that I had to have a hysterectomy surgery yesterday due to extremely painful menstruatuon cycles from uterine growths and I also have C.I.R.S. (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) so I was worried about surgery that it would set off more pain. I did Marnie’s Barbie barre 60 minute class the day before which was AMAZING and then the morning before surgery I did the gratitude meditation, really tuning into my body. Then the hospital let me listen to a meditation affirmation CD during surgery which I think massively helped. If anyone has an upcoming surgery I highly recommend Peggy Huddleston’s book, “Prepare for Surgery Heal Faster.” This photo is before surgery( the after is much more fatigued)… but I’m doing so much better than I thought! Will be with you all in spirit while I heal and can’t wait to dance again soon!! Lots of love to all 🩷
Completed my “at least 5 per week” goal with an average of 6.25 per week! (Missed two workouts on the board but I’ll catch up this week 😅). Sorry to miss the upcoming live celebration classes as I’ll be on vacation - but I wish you all a wonderful time! Thanks for the encouragement, Marnie and everyone 🥰
This is probably the first week in about a year that I’ve missed so many workouts. I haven’t been able to squeeze in movement as much as I would like because of a crazy work schedule. I have been stretching and my job is active but I do feel some guilt and self judgement about it. I know that rest is also important but I am missing the feeling of release and accomplishment I get from my mbody workouts! I hope to be able to do a stretch video later today but also give myself permission not to. Will get my sweat in this weekend for sure! And hope to get back into a groove next week. Marnie’s voice is in my head that three workouts a week is the goal and I will just barely hit that tomorrow. I have to remember that I am always doing my best. I know y’all feel me.
Just wanted to share that If you’re feeling low energy or hormonally dysregulated one day, this 30 min is absolutely achievable and worth your time! I am glad to be sweaty and to feel a release of tension physically and emotionally. Logging this one away for next time!
Hello Marnie, hello Fam!
Here my analogic boards: I’ve completed 53 workouts and 48 wellness activities!
Most important, I’ve reached my personal goal to stay focused on my mental and physical wellness during this challenging summer. Reaching almost daily the mat helped me to create a “no worries, no bad thoughts” space and to take care of myself. It was important to give me the strenght and energy for taking care of my family in tough weeks.
Thank you for showing up for me, for the messages, for the Barbie class, for encourage me to journal. I will always be grateful for this method and community 🤍
Congratulations challengers: WE DID IT!!!
My goal was 30/60 and to learn to love planks. My rule for the challenge was resting immediately for 1 set of 8 every time I would feel like giving up or was starting to lose form, instead of throwing in the towel. I brought my weights on a family holiday and stayed committed also through hosting in laws. What happened is that after the first part of the challenge I decided to try and not rotate the classes too much and do them more and less in the order of the board. This slowed me down a bit but I still am glad I did it because I tended to avoid 60 min and the plank heavier classes before. I have certainly gained more upper-body strength than I thought I would. During this challenge I also managed to attend my first live finally. A plank class!
Last week I beat the office planking record at work and it gave me such a boost. I credit M/Body entirely for that! Over all it was really good to have a goal, a structure for my summer workouts and though I didnt reach the 30/60 that I wanted I am content. 'There are no solutions, only tradeoffs' has been the mantra of this summer and what I have gained matters more at this point than the numbers on the board. Super grateful for Marnie's guidance and for the awesome community 💜
Cheers to the weekend! I don’t know who needs to hear this but you’re loved and amazing! Celebrate everyday like it’s your birthday 🎉
