Re-thinking some habits this morning as I’m slowly coming out of survival double newborn mode as my babies are 4 months (& big sister turning 3 this summer!). Needed a detox class & the first class of 2024 was the right fit this morning. Starting the week so energized & grateful & excited to see what this week/month/summer has in store! Happy Monday everyone!!
Hello!! I’m celebrating my 30th week birthday with my first workout through this platform. I gotta say I loved Marnie, and the meditation today it made me cry. I’m starting to love my body after 4 abd/pelvic surgeries and 1 year without a colostomy. I am so excited to see how my body changes and gets strong since I don’t have any pelvic muscle strength. Doing my workouts in my home from Puerto Rico. Thank you for this amazing workouts, you change lives!! 🥹🩷
What resources does everyone turn to about ageing as a female? I feel like our society only values us for our reproductive capabilities. What is nurturing you as you age?
Scrolling through the workouts trying to decide for tonight. Which one did you do today?
Hi sweet fam. It’s been a while! My health has been ebbing and flowing like crazy, making it difficult to workout consistently. But I wanted to update how thankful I am for this community. Your consistent positivity and bright outlook on life inspires me to keep going at my own pace and take it day by day. I look forward to getting back to a live workout here and there, when I am able to. Keep on keepin’ on, ya’ll. ✨
Hey all! Which class has your favorite meditation/cool down message? Looking for some words of inspiration ✨💕
I just did the 10 year celebration class (which was incredible!) and Marine asked about something that has changed in our lives since starting M/body!
I have been doing M/body for over 4 years and THAT is a huge change for me! I’ve never really worked out consistently, I would go through phases where I’d work out for a month then stop for a long time.
M/body has made movement part of my life style! Hardly a day goes by that I don’t prioritize doing m/body, yoga, or walking and I’m so much healthier and happier for it!
Another change is, I never smiled, laughed, or cried tears of joy from a workout but M/body has made me feel those emotions and more!
Bigger changes have been the courage to completely change careers. I left my teaching position a few years ago to work for a small business and I know M/body gave me the courage to do this. It helped me to pay attention to what was bringing joy in my life and what was draining me of it.
Lastly, M/body has inpired me to take another leap and this fall I’ll be getting my Yoga teacher certification! M/body has made movement a centerpiece in my life and I want to share that love with others!!
Thank you Marnie for sharing your light and energy with us all! You’ve truly changed my life! 💜
This is me for at least the next 2 weeks. I am recovering from a burn injury and need to spend my time seated with my leg raised to have any hope of healing without surgery. The physio has said I need to do short burst of normal working to keep things moving but proper work outs are out. Has anyone got any advice on how I can keep my M/BODY sessions going during this time? I am thinking seated adaptations, and upper body work. Argh. Any thoughts appreciated….❤️❤️❤️
