View from my bed. Pulled my sacro iliac in a side lunge and been getting lower back pain since so not managing the challenge which is sad! Have managed some stretch classes and posture classes. My dad got a cancer diagnosis a few weeks ago so I know a lot is a stress response. If anyone has tips and adjustments for working out safely with stiff lower back please send my way! Virtual

Week 38 with baby boy and getting to the mat makes me feel so good both physically and mentally!
Those in Italy,the pictures/videos on IG look fantastic have a great time and those at home,enjoy the challenge!

Day 9 - Feel Good Fall Challenge
Accountability
I like the word "Accountability", it describes honesty and honesty keeps me real. I like being real. I am posting here to hold myself accountable to the commitment I've made to myself this challenge-having fun! I am following my inner compass and not letting myself feel guilty for it. Remembering I am a human being- not a human doer. I am not an object that is valued for what I can do, I am valuable for who I am.

Yeah, I haven't kept track of the times I'm using the dry brush & that's alright. I'm kinda all over the board picking out classes that fit my schedule & that's alright. I'm doing the best I can to challenge old habits and pathways of thinking I "have to" or "I should" and just allowing freedom to flow; asking myself what are my needs and what do I want and it's really fun and exciting! Honesty and truth brings so much self-discovery!

BTW, I had an awesome birthday and what made it extra special was all of you!! Thank you for the love and support. My heart is filled with joy and gratitude.

Safe travels to all of you going to Italy. Excited for your retreat and our “Feel Good Fall” 21 day challenge! Thanks for posting pics when you can. All of it is very inspirational. I made my own calendar and highlighting what I end up doing. Going for 5 workouts a week (or more). 5 days of meditating for 20 min and then the wellness activitied. Every day- Water first thing, 10 min of natural light before screens, and at least 3 days of dry brushing a week. Love you all!

coming on to commit to the challenge! This will be my first challenge since I became pregnant with my first child (who's now a toddler!). My goals are: 

  • 5x weekly workouts

  • 1x 45 or 60 minute class per week 

  • join one live (which I also haven't done since giving birth!)

Fall Challenge 2024! 

Hello Fam! Popping on the board to commit to this challenge! My goal is 5 workouts per week, and if I do more, I will consider them a bonus. I always go for the maximum number, so I'm challenging myself in a new way, trying to embody the theme of release. 

In addition to the wellness activities (particularly love sunlight before screens and the lymph massage), I've set a few for myself:

  • Channel this month's theme of release to release judgement of self (particularly limiting critical words I say to myself) and expectations for the future. 

  • No electronics in the bedroom before bed

  • Lie on the floor and breathe each night before sleep (have started doing this recently, and it's such a grounding, relaxing feeling)
