Morning all. I want to say thanks to you for being a bright spot in life. There is so much positivity and support and good coming out of this community!! I live in Denver where I am a Community Outreach Specialist for the FBI (not a special agent/investigator, no weapon) and with yet another shooting that occurred, I’m heartbroken and angry. I’m tired of being a person who helps shoulder the scary, nervewracking, and traumatizing and continually tries to highlight the positive that law enforcement does. If you have space, I have a few asks: 1) please send good vibes our way 2) please tell your family, friends, unrequited lovers, pets, your neighbors, strangers, etc that you appreciate them and selfishly 3) if anyone is willing to talk with me about what they do for work, I’d love to hear it because I definitely need a change after 10 years supporting law enforcement. lahapner2@gmail.com
Have a wonderful and safe day!
Hi! One of the reasons that I am doing the challenge is to lose weight. I realised that an integral part of that goal is to cook healthy meals and snacks so that I will avoid packaged food. I am cooking caponata, and will then make battered haddock. I will also bake crackers and banana bread. I think with these healthy foods, that I will stick to a healthier path.
Better late than never! I cut my hair short a few months ago and it’s SO FUN working out with short hair!! I just let it be loose and wild 😜 Any one else make any changes to their body or routine lately?
And I’ve had to bend a LOT this challenge! I’ve been sicker over the past few weeks than I’ve been in years🥺 First a stomach bug last week then the flu hit our house on Tuesday 😵💫 Trying to heal up and regain strength to hopefully get back on the mar in the next week or two. Not at all how I envisioned this challenge but I’m trying to bend with what life’s throwing my way in order not to break❣️
Hi there Marnie Family,
Here’s my other kind of “move” question: My small family of 3 are relocating back to LA from Portland & we’re looking for a place to call home. I’ll be staring at a design firm in Silverlake (motet design) and my partner teaches Creative Writing at CSUDH. Hoping to move asap. We’re honestly open to a variety of arrangements as we settle back in. I’d say our priorities are *location, preferably east side ; *quality & charm, i.e - not a dump.
I love you movers & shakers & I hope to see you sometime in the flesh.
Kindly, (my email is below),
Nora Lange, Nick Bredie, & Sylvia Rainer (our wee-one)

Wanted to share one of my fave meals: sausage and chickpeas and veggies sheet pan meal! I can eat it alone, but some prefer it with a grain. Thanks to Chelsea’s Messy Apron!
And my selfie from Saturday’s live.
