I became a Reiki master in the autumn of 2019. I have only been able to practice on my family because of covid, but it has become something my family loves. I even do reiki on myself every day.

I help others feel safe enough to speak the truth and be themselves.

I have the motivation and drive to work out daily, even when tired.

I bring positive energy and vibes!

I am a great nurse manager and advocate for my nursing team.

I'm a mom who is trying her best to stay open, listen, accepting, and loving.

My favorite superpower of mine is that I bring people together! I have learned, much like “Field of Dreams”, if I build it people will come. I have a way of making others feel welcome and valued.

My other superpower is ideation. Maybe only 1 of the 15 are viable, but if you need and idea, I likely have a few!

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized I can dig deep. I can push through when I need to even if I’m exhausted. I can tap into reserves of love and compassion when I’m focused on that goal. I’m internally much stronger than I ever thought I was, even though I’ve always been sensitive.

And I can find something likable or that I can respect within almost every single person I meet and work with.

So My super powers are: I get shit done. I cannot always do it myself but I figure out a way.

Hi all - had to share some exciting news today…. Did the splits for the first time ever!! It’s been a life goal of mine to do them, and I was in awe and delight this morning when it happened. I pushed myself a bit further during the stretch at the end of class, and popped into them! So I propped up my phone a timer to capture it 😂 So thankful for the challenge that has gotten me to this point!! It’s proof that a little bit every day can enact real change. Onwards and upwards from here! Happy Tuesday!

It took longer than 20 minutes, but I finally decluttered Aubrey’s bookshelf. I am gifting a laundry basket full of books to my cousin who just had a baby girl. I limited myself to keeping just one shelf of baby books for nostalgia purposes. We love books in this house - this is isn’t even all of her books - she has a full shelf on her desk, one in my office and one downstairs. Baby steps … but at least we don’t have stacks on the floor anymore!

Now to declutter the rest of the house …

Also - check out the RBG book - I took it out in honour of the Phenomenal (Wo)man workout tomorrow! 👑

I took 20 minutes and tackled my husbands dresser top. It ends up being a catch all cause it’s high up so we put anything we want out of reach from the kiddos up there and then the top disappears lol. It felt so good to clean it off.
