Crying. Crying is beautiful.

This is me crying on my way home from work after the way I was treated today. I felt so unvalued, unappreciated, and like I didn’t matter. Like I wasn’t good enough. I sat with this for a bit and ugly cried until I was able to come back to myself. I turned inward and focused on my breathing. I placed a hand on my heart (and the other on the wheel) and repeated to myself “you are seen, you are loved, you are valuable, the work you do matters, I am good enough” over and over with each inhale and exhale.

We don’t talk about it enough but there’s so much beauty in raw, real emotion. I actually said that my emotions were my super powers earlier in the week! I like to think that feelings are like the colors, and I pride myself in living my life in ultra violet; all the way alive 💜

He is the most beautiful thing I can find in my phone! He's a special little guy, can't wait to see him again!

When my husband and I were pronounced husband and wife. By far the most beautiful moment and so grateful we have pictures to look back on 🥰

My old girl with her muddy paws on my mat patiently waiting for me to start class. Her eyes looking right at me, her white muzzle and brows, her head resting calmly. I remember when you wouldn’t let me move without jumping all over me. But here she is, just being with me. Aging can be beautiful, huh Elle?

That's hard to chose!

There so many beautiful things in the midle of this chaotic world! This place in Brazil is special for me. But that sky is one of the most beautiful things for me!!! I smile everytime I see it!

Some how this didn’t make it into the last post

One of the most beautiful things I am lucky to see every day is the array of colors in my child’s eyes.

Our Old English Sheepdog, Penny and our 5 year old daughter have an amazing connection. I love seeing their friendship grow as my daughter gets older. The dog has always been so gentle and attentive. Penny even woke me up and led me down the hall to Kate’s room one time in the middle of the night when Kate had a high fever. I think animals are miraculous and beautiful!
