When my heart is heavy I seek grounding classes with low impact. Mostly floor flows (in the 20 and 30 sections), planks and push-ups (20s). I also like any standing barre series for brain work to get my head into movement and out of my thoughts when I am finding myself without the energy and enthusiasm needed for bouncing joy. Dancers Legs classes are great for this and anything with barre in the title aka badass ballerina classes (20s and 30s sections)
There is something extra special about this class! The energy and moves are so fun and unique with lots of variety and shorter holds. Itโs a leg and booty class too, the first half is standing, second is floor glutes and brief on your back abs. A little bit of everything and so much joy ๐คฉ
I absolutely loved the unique choreo combos in this class for wide second (lunge and arabesque combos LOVE) barre and floor glutes (ball under the knee ๐) and also for abs. Those elegant v and c up holds with small leg movements are so powerful and immediately brain engaging. Then there is the community curated playlist and the energy of Marnie..so freaking good.
Hi Debora! If youโre feeling up to it (I do the same, try a stretch class when I am having less symptoms/starting to recover and I know within minutes if itโs right or wrong, hello dizziness etc) my faves are Healing Hips 159 and Deep Hip Stretch 214. I also love the newest Healing Hips 307 with the meditation, but know itโs a little more dynamic movements. The two Strap Stretch classes 187 and 132 are great as well, the prop brings focus. I would recommend saving Recovery Flow/180 for when you are feeling better. While it is a great class, it is pretty heating with some more challenging leg lifts, which can feel intense on sick days.
Good luck taking care of yourself with your two sweet girls, minis and mama sickness are no joke (๐๐คช๐ )
