Upper body strength has never been a, uh, strength of mine, so when I arrived in this wonderful community during deep lockdown and resorted to soup cans (ok ok, tomato paste cans), I was able to tell myself I was starting at a reasonable place given the circumstances. Some time later (we don’t need to get into specifics), I moved from my 8oz pasties to whopping 14.5oz diced tomatoes. That’s right. Don’t be intimidated - you too can have a vegetable-based workout. Today, almost half way through my third year as an M/Body subscriber I finally took the plunge and treated myself to real, big girl weights! Not quite sure how to feel about being able to fit my hand all the way around my weights, but know for sure I’ll be missing the familiar sloshing sound during those straight-arm shakes at the end of weight sections! 😂

Hey Meena, I use my laptop every now and then and just sign in via the M/Body website. It has all the functionality of the app plus a couple other features. 🙂

Hi Costanza! Good question! I have been doing M/Body exclusively for three years now. I do a video most days (usually 6-7/wk) and don’t really feel I need anything else! My strength, stamina, and mobility haven’t been this good since I was in high school dance! I do think there’s an important lifestyle aspect that Marnie so eloquently addresses. Once I figured out what the right level of activity felt like to me, I found that I couldn’t maintain my desired activity level with some of the lifestyle choices I had been making. Embracing Marnie’s holistic approach is really key in my opinion. ❤️

Jenn thank you for posting - your journey resonates so strongly! I’m in the early stages of divorce, single-momming, working full time, and also SOO thankful for the strength - body, mind, and spirit - that M/Body and this incredible community have given me along this challenging, scary, liberating, difficult, healing, life-affirming road! If you ever need to talk, I’m here. ❤️ I also highly recommend the book Get Divorced, Be Happy by the amazing Helen Thorn. 😊 And I totally agree re the daily affirmations!! Keep up the great work my dear!! xoxo

Ugh! I feel for you, Mary-Ellen! We’ve had the 6th snowiest winter on record here in Minnesota. I was telling Kady how thankful I am for M/Body because I’m able to put a dent in the driveway without my back and arms (and all other muscle groups) punishing me for days. 😂 Hope it went relatively quickly!! ❤️
