We used this little needle adapter thingy (a ball pump needle or inflation needle) and put it on our bike pump and it works well. You can get them at Target or Amazon probably.

I have a tear in my rotator cuff too. Hang in there. My doctor said that sometimes people can get by without forgoing surgery. Take it easy though. Definitely a balance between physical therapy exercise and rest. Is there an option for in home care so you don’t have to lift your mom?
