This might be the first time I tried this workout, and I favorited it now! It went above and beyond what I expected in an arms and back workout from all the sweatiness and activation of the lower body. The music was kickin’ as well! 🎧

Yes, more chair classes, please! 🪑💕 I feel so stretched out and strong in my hips and lower back.

Oops, I’ll try a towel or a cushion next time with the ball on the pelvis because it made me want to 💩, even though I don’t actually have to… 😂

This should come with a warning: “Marnie proves that the hardest workouts can be the one with no equipment!” 🥵I was breathing fire and dripping sweats of coal during, then detoxified and on an endorphin high after.

Favorited, again! It was cool to have an M/BODYer’s song come up too 🎶

Note to self: never underestimate a 20-mins class by Marnie. It will kick your butt! 🥊 Also, I found the music to be refreshingly different and good.

I’m sorry to hear about your father 😔 You have a lot to love, which reminded me of the quote below which I hope is encouraging 💕

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.” - C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

Since being with M/BODY, I work out not for the end goal of looking a certain way but delighting in movement for the sake of it ✨ Marnie’s explanations during the classes about how the movements are good for us—whether it’s detoxing, healing, or strengthening—helps a lot with that!
