The second half of class on the mat feels like being at the gym with Marnie using weight machines somehow 💪🏻, especially with the move that’s pictured in the thumbnail of this class!

What…? I get physical therapy—and even better—with Marnie’s classes! 🤑 My tight and painful lower back got loved on and I feel so light now 🌬️ I was fooled by the title thinking it would mainly be stretching, but boy, did I burn and sweat!

Every time I’m about to do a Barre “Sweat” I think of cardio, but I forget it’s more like a sculpt-y session that brings the sweat 🔥! They’re one of my favorites, especially with the ankle weights that are so healing for the spine, lower back, and hips. There’s plenty of kicking alongside music like “Wrecking Ball” that will surely get you in the mood to kick some butt!

May I suggest… a trampoline/rebounder class one day, pleaseee? 🙊I have it lying around as a trainer of mine used to incorporate it and it was sooo much fun!

Note to self: Don’t attempt using 15 pound weights…😬 Max. 12 pounds! Especially so as it requires a bit of brain work. Return to this for a burst of strength and sweat when you’re crunching for time!

Please watch the “wrists modification” at the end if you’re like me and tend to get pain in the hands and wrists from long plank sessions, especially the side plank ⚠️ I hope to come back to this and practice more to strengthen my arms as push-ups aren’t my forté… Remind yourself, “Honor where you are at without judgments” as you go through this class! ✌🏻

Okay… that… was… spectacular! 🤩 I can do this over and over again, like it should be a weekly thing. All the tension in my body was released, feeling like I had the best massage. It was relaxing without any jumping from what I recall, yet burn-y. You are truly a guru, Marnie!
