Echoing everyone: baddie LP demonstrating the choreography was both inspiring and relatable. Seeing/hearing Marnie’s form guidance and corrections to check the entire time is HELPFUL. It’s helpful in the now and for me to keep in mind when I revisit other classes. Love a peek at the old studio days! This class: cardio dance felt longer but was fun, weights felt shorter but were felt nonetheless. This was a leggy leg muscle class between wide second pulses on the mat and a lot of parallel relevé at the barre. Love my Movement ball under my neck and back when down on the mat. Hours later I feel like the muscles lining my entire silhouette are activated and I’m reminded we did a lot of long side stretching moves in the first part, obliques and lower back on all 4s, and strengthening rolling pushups/Mtn climbers. Super activating class!

Banana outfits remind you this shit is bananas and you will be sweating. Fabulous 45 Signature; having LP as the special guest is a great opportunity to hear and see form corrections as we move.

I wasn't sure what class to do today, so went with a Planks + Pushups and it was a challenge all over again - whew! The quote I included in my first comment of this class still resonated deeply today.

I was able to pop in as 'desk crew' for most of this Live and finally got to this a few days later. I was surprised at the calm it provided; is that the connection with breath? The medicinal practice of getting to the mat for any M/BODY class? The fact the pelvic floor is this creative space that holds and carries and does magical things but can receive so much negativity (especially for those who have experienced pregnancy and labor)? Who knows, but this class felt grounding (it's all down on the mat), somewhat warming but not sweaty, slower paced, very internal in awareness of the muscles we are working (my glutes wanted to participate). Fabulous for low-energy days, healing from illness (or bullshit from an ex or other toxic interaction), or for calming. Thank you for the variety of classes in our beloved M/BODY catalog!

Warming, intentional yogic flow with some lingering holds the first few times and more quick flow after understanding the sequences. A lot of side body work and lengthening stretches. Great release-focused meditation at end of class. Class is on the mat as well as moving from standing to lowering and back again in the choreographic sequences. This felt great on a Sunday evening.

I had this class marked as played in my catalog, but I hadn't commented, so I wanted to return to it and remember it. This class is 2/3 standing and 1/3 down on the mat, with lots of core twists to wring out and hip stretches to let out. It had me a bit sweaty and breathing deeply, feeling stretched all over at the end of class. The messages sprinkled throughout are lovely. I love honoring Marnie's birthday at the end! ❤️

Revisited this class today-  "You're most beautiful, elegant, elongated, taking up space badass self...like you're moving through honey, slow, that's that beautiful barre burn..." "This [leg] is on fire, that's on purpose." Marnie describes it so well in this class, but all I could think of for this class was "rele all day." Powerful!

My legs were shaking a few times in class but the next day my abdominal muscles (front and center, and low abs) are letting me know they were WORKED. Tucks galore! I had to add a few mermaid stretches after class and a little added arm stretch after for those muscles (this could be due to some time away from the mat or this baddie of class). Medium impact class, no hip bridge at the end, and only a brief traditional plank action. There are some fun options to choose your own adventure on the mat in a kneeling side plank. Have your ball and prepare to keep your hand weights for some of the barre work too.

Only 20 minutes but I was sweating and needing to use my breath very intentionally with the weights. I did 3 lb. handweights plus wrist weights, and did this class immediately after M/<20 Posture /407 class and holy moly my arms! I liked the weighted arm dance paired with sit ups and slow punches/stretches with crunches. More leg movement and incorporation than #407. I appreciated the neck/shoulder muscle stretch at the end, and needed to add some extra arm muscle stretches for myself. Beautiful closing message.

Great workout for arm muscles, shoulder muscles, and back muscles. Some leg motion pairing, but class felt much more upper body for the postural muscles. I chose my 3 lb. hand weights plus wrist weights so I had options. I definitely used the movement ball for the end of class and that felt great. Thank you for playing my 'September 2024 events' song today - the physical outlet and support of these classes is palpable, and the added emotional support of the M/BODY team and #mbodyglobalfam is humbling. Thank you!
