When the form of the morning’s M/BODY Posture Perfect class is seen out in the wild: one leg forward, hips squared, soft face, getting the cake onto the table around some energetic and bouncy nine year olds. Probably dropping a cuss word in my mind with a ā€˜holy moly!’ said out loud. šŸ˜‚

Revisited this class right after #490 Posture class for more lower body activation, and I did #491 Sculpt + Stretch yesterday and holy moly!! This class brings that intense fire that is so powerful- wide parallel feet, wide second position, pulses and optional jumps to incorporate like a firework. Down on the mat for the last 1/3 or so. Ball between our hands while standing and betweenĀ  feet and then knees when down on the mat.

I agree with Lindsey J: stretch flow and sculpt blend here; 5 lb. hand weights worked for me and the regular Movement ball under foot/feet. We have some P&P embedded moments but a lot of stretch for our posterior side as well. Super focused on arms and shoulders but felt the work into my core as I used breath and hip-centered positioning in the mirror to brace core as other muscles engage.

Unique and new, but familiar blend together seamlessly in this class, where we can add ankle weights from the very beginning before we start, and where we pick up hand weights for at least half of it (and one of my personal favorites with one weight behind the knee in a challenging and fabulous choreography set that incorporates a one legged plank with the extra weighted leg dancing). Purposeful twists involved with hip openers, and the floor series that was nothing less than a beautiful challenge working the entire core (front to back, sides included). Pilates vibes and Rye the puppy brings the giggles for additional ab work. Flowy, strengthening, and sculpting all wrapped in a 45 minutes! Cannot wait to do this one again- and love celebrating Lindsey J’s birthday and Molly G’s Marnieversary and with some birthday minis (Elijah included ā¤ļø).

How lucky are we to share space in the world with Yvonne and Kady?? Thank you for creating this and sharing it! You both inspire and shine so bright.

Loving these Presence themed classes! We are mindfully warming up and elevating our heart rate, then slowing it a bit to savor while keeping an active tempo and the heat going in anaerobic ways. The Movement ball (regular and mini) are stars of the class. Some intense one leg work at the barre which I adored despite some exhaled words along the way. Todd joined me for the playback of this and said it may be one of the best and sweatiest classes he’s done yet. I was dehydrated from the night before and didn’t sweat as much as he did, but it was a class leaving us both feeling the full body work and a sense of accomplishment and calm.

Ankle weights are such a small but mighty add-on for extra challenge- oh my! I had to get out of my head when I needed to catch a beat and will work on keeping hips down and level as my leg raises behind me or to my side when I revisit this class. As mentioned all standing throughout class, a lot of one leg at a time focus, with some interesting angle shifts at our standing surface. The closing message was tugging on my emotions, so I recognize that was important for me to hear today- thank you.

This class ALWAYS delivers, entirely on the floor and tummy up to the sky (no plank variations here).

Paired this class with a Power Sculpt class and I loved the stretch it gave to the upper body worked with heavier weights beforehand, and the gooey hip stretch and opening this one provides. It's such a calming class.

Power sculpt blending times of down on the mat (kneeling or plank varieties) and upright standing, with one-weight side plank dances and combos that invite our lower body, core activation, and the (personal challenge) of keeping shoulders down while raising one or both weights over our shoulders. The final combo choreography was my favorite! Super quick class!
