Such a great classic Signature class. My legs were shaking during the standing portion and I appreciate Marnie's words about elegance and strength, and the verbal form guides (it still amazes me how something like wrapping my thighs tighter can enhance the abdominal work). I felt like the core was stretched and benefiting from purposeful breath and choreography throughout class. This classic class has some brief push-ups and plank/mountain climbers, and I've lost some stamina in these forms, so while it is hard for me it is a gift to continue to practice and re-build that strength and endurance.

I've been doing M/BODY classes for a while, but I found this class had a lot of helpful form descriptions by Marnie, so this is great for review or if you're newer. Full Body Signature class that starts out quick with a lot of bounce and jump options, moving in and out of a low squat form. The M/ovement ball is under one foot in a playful lunge series at the barre and "squeezes don't stop" (for real) in between knees at the barre. Mat series brings that ongoing burn with the ball behind the knee then some psuh-up and plank-inspired choreography (I dropped down a few times but I appreciate the pause button and 10-second rewind button I used generously in this class). There are stretches interlaced, thankfully, because this class works you and this hour will NOT go to waste. I feel so alive after this class, energized and calm.

This class belongs on an Empowerment playlist (which we can create on the M/BODY app!). It is a wonderful Signature class that flows quickly and choreography combos give a little bit of everything while standing, at the barre, and on the mat. The comments before me about a Tina Turner Proud Mary push-up series had me nervous, but OF COURSE the flow and options guided by Marnie make everything so accessible (and it was a rolling pushup combo with gooey flow and then the option of rolling sautes so it already incorporates little reprieves for wrists, shoulders, etc.). So get out of your head, get ready to move and sweat, and get ready for some more helpful self-talk messages as you progress through class with a soundtrack to support you.

Full disclosure: I was apprehensive about a higher weights class. I chose this after my thighs were dead (hello /362 class). I used my usual 3 lb hand weights and added 4 lb. wrist weights, so I knew I had options to quickly shed some weight if needed. I doubled up the hand weights in one hand often to give a 10 lb. sensation to each side. It was so doable! I think I can try a little more weight next time. Don't be scared, be curious and be safe!

This is a slower, mindful pace class (brings a different type of challenge when moving more intentionally slow), and a class in which we hold weights for more than 1/2 the class. The choreography combos move us from standing to floor to standing, until we drop the weights and move to the floor. A lot of balancing with standing leg lifts and side plank work on the mat. While not jumpy or bouncy, there are some inversions (sharing this for those currently experiencing a headache or sinus pressure). I was noticing the core work and twists throughout class, felt the pulses throughout my entire legs in relevé during class, but my THIGHS the next day- wow… the inner thighs and anterior front of thighs are letting me know with each step that I worked these muscles throughout class. This class features a great flow at the end to stretch and close class. Having a strap for the ending stretches is helpful.

Oh my booty and legs. My oh my…. What a gorgeous burn this class gives during and after! All standing, no impact, class goes quickly but is fiiiiiire! Lots of relevé on the ball, so prepare the amount of air in that in advance for what is most comfortable.

Beautiful low-impact quickie - stretch and sculpt class at the barre. All standing (except for end of class stretch finishes on the mat) and only did about 3 minutes of weighted arm work, but postural arm work was throughout class. If you need something to move your body with graceful strength, that is not bouncy or cardio intensive, and/or need all-standing, do this perfect pocket size class!

This was indeed a marvelous restorative flow class. This is great for nighttime; I was able to do this with my mom at night, surrounded by the circle of white lights and a few candles, and it was exactly what was needed after a busy and rainy day. 🩵

The class itself was about 45 minutes, but Marnie goes into an impromptu Q&A making this video appear longer. It was a serious challenge and burn- so sweaty!! My feet and calves were FEELING it and a short cardio burst in the middle was a relief. I used fuzzy socks on hardwood floors. Definitely towel-dance inspo as Lindsey J shared. So much room for growth and progress here- a beautiful challenge to take on and know others are with you in the “whoa” experience.

Abs and glutes, abs and glutes!! Serious core work, feeling stretching and lengthened in between my ribs, legs feel lengthened but the hips and all parts of booty were WORKED! No equipment, lots of bouncy options, standing and mat work. Use of body weight felt impactful, even without hand weights. Such a great abs and ass class!
