This class does not have jumps and not even a lot of pulses, so it's great for when you need to pull into strength and endurance, but not jumpy, bouncy aerobic cardio. I was warm, sweating at times, and I am so damn proud that I kept my arms up and kept weights in my hands, but as I did this with a friend I was reminding them they can always drop the weights and continue the arm dance. I am grateful Marnie's choreography switches so often so we can work through 30 minutes of straight arms and it is accessible and doable and engaging the entire time. Holding my core tight and strong throughout felt like it's own workout embedded in a workout. As mentioned below, this incorporates lower body work and movement, so it is arm centric but still works the whole body. Toward the end we are on our knees, so consider having extra padding nearby if you need for comfort.

Have your M/ovement ball for this class- it felt like the added special “ooomph” bringing the muscle activation to the next level. We use it standing, standing at the barre, and on the floor. It was wild to me how Marnie reminds us where the most muscle work is, such as pushing the ball into our knee while laying on our back, which did more core work than our leg/arm raises and added crunch, and she was right. Then doing it all together was FIRE. Also, this class slayed my thighs, I wasn’t expecting it until they seemingly left my body. Great class that brings the heat for a full-body balanced Signature, with a lot of 16 and 24 counts rather than a full “four more sets of eight.” Fabulous playlist as well!
