Ohhh great point, Cathy! I was only thinking iPhone vs. Google (in the US, the M/BODY app has more reviews on Apple apps than on Google apps). I hadn’t considered how that looks within the UK (or anywhere else in the world from where we are logging in). I wonder if US and Canada reviews are the same or how this all goes. But if everyone took 5 minutes they’d be able to type (or copy/paste from a notes section in their phone) a few sentences about what they love and just submit that review and POOF 500th class present. 🪄💫🎁Thank you Cathy for adding to the small number of UK reviews, you beautiful spirit you.

Several people have mentioned it, and I know Marnie mentions it from time to time in class… but if a bunch of new reviews were to be posted I’m sure that would feel like a little gift from all of us. And it only takes a few minutes, less than a class warmup! 💝

Yesss ankle weights are such an impactful add-on, as felt in this class! Have a stable surface and a movement ball for under your feet and you are golden. I will continue trying to keep my hip level and down with those side leg extensions. Beautiful work one leg at a time (in which our other leg is still working and our core [front and back] are engaged). Warmed me up to a little bit sweaty despite the flow feeling and totally low-impact (no jumps or bounces, just some pulses). 

45 Signatures truly move quickly and then they’re over! Abdominal work interlaced, lots of hip opening love (feeling the echo of muscle activation around my hips, seat, and 360 degrees around my upper thighs the next day and second morning after class). The barre to floor combinations were challenging and fun- my goal is to maintain form and not lean to the side when we have one hand on the barre and wrap one leg up on the other (class image shows this move). I was really feeling my legs during class and was trying to stay LOW all up in that fire.

Reiterating other comments- this class was fun! 45 min Signatures fly by… some fun cardio dance moves, hand weights, very brief movement ball use. I did this one outside while traveling, using a deck railing as a barre. I felt muscle activation afterward from my feet to my shoulders.

This no-equipment class is focused on healing hips, but felt so cool and unique compared to previous classes sharing this title. Within my body it felt like a gliders class meets a dancer's legs class meets a yogic physical therapy vibe. We are paced in an overarching flow, but it felt like mini series within. I have a slight buzzing sensation from my feet into my ribs after class. Marnie's guidance and cues are so helpful, so my gaze can be up to the side instead of on the screen and I actually felt my hip release more when visualizing the hip growing roots and rooting down in 'pigeon.' I had to re-engage several times as I noticed a part of me was collapsing within various forms. Very cool class, favoriting, and will remember this is going to make my hips hum but it won't mirror and repeat an earlier cataloged HH class. Also- Gravity Rides Everything in the playlist? Loved!

Abs, ass, AND a strong cardio start! No equipment means this would be great one when traveling.

PS I love how you’re acknowledging you’re not a destination; former versions of you are inaccessible on the GPS. Yet you’re returning to you in the sense you love this movement practice and it’s a part of you. Your body has done incredible things on the mat and off (hello sweet baby boy!) and you are connecting to what feels consistently good and healing, but also exploring it in your current age/stage/body. Postpartum is no joke, and I hope you can be as loving and appreciative of yourself now as ever before- even if those abdominal muscles are different or a liner is needed for some jumps. This version of you will also change, evolve, and grow. She’ll be different in a few months and different from that in a few years. We don’t bounce back, because older versions of us are no longer here, but we sure as heck can return to movement and be gentle with our journey and proud as hell of the work you’re body does for you and your lovely babe. I hear you on the midnight classes- in life altering stages (birth, grief, anything in between) it’s so wonderful having a platform available when you are. A warm congratulations again and thank you for acknowledging we keep growing forward but we don’t return to our former body, we can only keep returning back to ourselves and loving on her every time we do, in all of our phases and stages. You are doing SO GREAT, momma!

Thank you Kady for the closing meditation! Thank you Marnie and M/BODY team for this fun class that added some invigorating twists on our Signature rhythm and flow. All props included, and having a regular movement ball and then the mini to hug behind your knee was fabulous! Squeezing the ball between our knees while kneeling really helps me, and I was surprised at how some of the simplest movements felt SO good in stretching and loving parts of my body that were tight or tense (e.g. one arm back at a time as we kneel and lean our body backward while maintaining posture felt SO good). We incorporate some pushups but it’s brief and in all the ways Marnie gives options. Those form notes/reminders remain consistently helpful no matter how many years I’ve been doing these classes.
