Unique and new, but familiar blend together seamlessly in this class, where we can add ankle weights from the very beginning before we start, and where we pick up hand weights for at least half of it (and one of my personal favorites with one weight behind the knee in a challenging and fabulous choreography set that incorporates a one legged plank with the extra weighted leg dancing). Purposeful twists involved with hip openers, and the floor series that was nothing less than a beautiful challenge working the entire core (front to back, sides included). Pilates vibes and Rye the puppy brings the giggles for additional ab work. Flowy, strengthening, and sculpting all wrapped in a 45 minutes! Cannot wait to do this one again- and love celebrating Lindsey J’s birthday and Molly G’s Marnieversary and with some birthday minis (Elijah included ❤️).

I agree with Lindsey J: stretch flow and sculpt blend here; 5 lb. hand weights worked for me and the regular Movement ball under foot/feet. We have some P&P embedded moments but a lot of stretch for our posterior side as well. Super focused on arms and shoulders but felt the work into my core as I used breath and hip-centered positioning in the mirror to brace core as other muscles engage.
