Congratulations on the expansion of your love in pregnancy form, sweet Amanda! 

Slower, steady pace inviting your mind to focus on form and muscular activation with reps, low/no impact with times on our feet, on our knees, in plank position albeit briefly. My mind started to wander and then I heard my name- perfect timing to return to my mindful awareness. Hand weights were fabulous and while my knees can be sensitive the ball was an option that I didn't need this class. Beautiful, slower, opening class that warmed me up but is gentle enough for when you are physically healing or preparing to end your day in warmth and peace.

I appreciate the comments before me to help me know what to expect. Not a traditional Signature type class but definitely maintains the pillars of M/BODY in movement. Flowy, sometimes welcoming messy (especially to override the silly voice saying it needs to match or 'be right.') No equipment, ups and downs, some jump options but not necessary. Sweat primarily from anaerobic movement. For myself next time: recall which is the starter side. I enjoyed the music and now I'm craving Lykke Li (not played but something reminded me of her and can we incorporate one of her songs maybe Little Bit?)

Full body in 45 minutes, with ankle weights we can add after the cardio dance and hand weights (so after 17ish minutes of class). Those ankle weights were felt at the barre (I had some leg shakes) but they were SPICY for the mat work. Such a good fire! The warmup felt slightly adjusted, which is a cool shift. I felt my abdominals but especially my lower back, hips, glutes, and hamstrings for two days after class.

PS Lauren’s energy and warmth radiates and seeing Marnie in a duo led class adds to the joy and sisterhood of M/BODY. ❤️

Calming, centering, grounding floor flow all focused on pelvic floor. This class was gentle while still capturing attention for form. Movement ball so helpful here, as would be ensuring your floor space is comfortable and padded for laying on your back, on your side hip, and kneeling. Wonderful for if you are tired, if it's closer to bedtime, if your cortisol levels have been spiking, or if you are healing from illness and need to resume softly to movement.

Perfect class for when bounces and big sweat are not what you need (like a late night out the night before), but you want that flow of movement that captures your attention with form and effort. I had two levels of weights at the ready, which I recommend so you can switch if/as needed. The Movement Ball is for under your seat or between your knees while we kneel on the mat toward the end. Solid stand alone but great to add-on to another short class. We are using our core for support, but our lower body is not as engaged (sometimes an arm focus class can still feel full body but this one felt primarily arms to me and I'm about to do the pelvic floor class for my combination of M/BODY today).

Joyful! A celebratory class that connected me to fellow members and to my body. Felt more traditional Signature in flow of class. Our warm up leads into the cardio dance in such a heart rate accelerating and sweat-inducing way. I am feeling my biceps and especially triceps the day after from the arm dance and a few moments of supported planking positions later on. My glutes and core (abdominals in the front and back muscles) are also awakened the next day (my abs felt crispy done by the end of our ab series on the mat). Great playlist with some spicy lyrics at the barre where the choreography fires up your muscles. Beautiful meditation at end. Loved this class and love being here!
