Strengthening and grounding. I’ve come to really appreciate and love the power sculpt addition to the curriculum. It’s fresh and exciting to do new things and to override the fear of the unknown to harness that courageous exploration. Heavier weights and a slower pace do that for me for sure.

Little note for those taking this class; for the parallel lunge series the leg that goes back is the same side as the arm that holds the weight. Make sure you do this on the second side min 10:30.

Oh the joy of lives and their realness, thank you for your realness Marnie. I don’t know how you do it, and with puppy distraction to boot?! 🙏

Hi! I remembered a few ballet classes with no on your back ab portions, which sent me down a catalog search rabbit hole to find more for you. (I admittedly love this kind of thing!) Here is what I found! There are a few, like the chair dances, that close with brief on your back glute bridges but if that bothers your back you could easily skip. I hope you get some relief and that modifying/eliminating types of movement helps!
