I too sometimes have a knee thing… I sometimes use blocks or stable surface for support w side lunges (but not sure if you will be traveling w those) I am constantly looking down to make sure my knee is tracking over my foot in my side lunge (I think it’s supposed to be turned out and use the blocks as an extension of my arms to ground for lunges to modify). I love jumping around too, but have to listen to my body which is difficult at times then I just allow myself to back off and tell myself it’s ok…. Then I lean into the modifications and just work on grounding, alignment, and lengthening in those modified moves which can actually feel really dancy. These are great questions and looking forward to the discussion this Wed! Also maybe foam rolling the IT band and/or the microball if you have it? Everything is connected so if something is tight or wonky somewhere else, it could overwork some other part of the body. Those are my thoughts. Hope that helps! Xo!
