Completed Day 1 of the beginner’s 10-day challenge! Got my 32 oz of lemon water, a good breakfast full of veggies and protein and now snuggling with the wee dog, enjoying a new years fire (out with the old, in with the new) outside in Maine. There’s something spiritual and cleansing about casting your fears doubts from the old year and dreams for the new year into a fire.

Good luck to everyone who is new to the #mbodyglobalfam Welcome to this community. It’s been a place I draw strength and comfort from for the last 2+ years. You’re surrounded by wonderful spirit warriors here 💜

This morning was semi-rough. I told a man that I’ve been seeing off and on for many years that we can’t see each other anymore. The relationship was scorching my soul and not helping me evolve. I truly didn’t feel like working out this morning but I did M/<60 Signature Rise Up/197 and it was just what my soul needed. I cried some and was able to release some of this pain that I’m feeling, but I also was able to grab onto some hope that I’m making a choice that is going to nurture my soul and bring healing. Thank you Marnie for creating a workout that I want to do on my worst days. ♥️♥️♥️

I have been less active on socials this week, but I wanted to include on here happy birthday wishes to our trainer, our guru, our supporter: Marnie Alton! I’m one day late on here (the special day was December 29th), but I think birthdays are worth celebrating for at least a week if not a month. 🥳💃🎂🐾❤️

Hey lovely fam!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! To welcome the new year, I’m planning 2 zoom workouts for next week.

The first workout will be on Tuesday 1/3, in the morning Los Angeles time. How about 10am?

The second workout will be on Sunday 1/8. How about 9am Los Angeles time? This one will be a stretch, low key workout.

Suggestions for the Tuesday 1/3 workout are welcome! Looking forward to connnecting with you ❤️❤️

Hi fam! I normally don't post on here too often, but I was feeling inspired today so I wanted to share. I just did M/93 for the first time in awhile, and I felt really moved by Marnie's opening words: how we often look forward as a group, but how important it is to reflect on the past and how far we've come since we began our M/Body journey. It seems to me that the longer I do M/Body (it's been a little over two years now) the harder it seems to get, but that's not a bad thing: it's because I've connected deeper and deeper with my body over time. I never used to feel my abs in tucks, for example, and now I FEEL them the second a workout starts. Sometimes it's almost frustrating--the classes used to seem easier, somehow!--but looking at what my body can do now compared to what it used to before M/Body is incredible. I'm not only so much stronger AND more flexible, but I can activate and engage my muscles in ways that I literally, physically couldn't before. I felt really grateful today to have rediscovered an old class that suddenly seemed to have new "challenges," but those challenges wouldn't have been possible without all of the work put into the classes that came before it. Just wanted to share in case this helps inspire anyone who ever feels frustrated with themselves for ANY reason to give themselves a break :) The journey IS the destination, and sometimes the challenges are actually a testament to how far we've all come and how much farther we can all go.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful end of their 2022 and a great new year ahead. Cheers to 2023 and all of the exciting new journeys to come!

I hope you’re having a great last week of 2022, fam!! I’m planning workouts for the next few days and struggling with which one to kick off 2023. Definitely planning to do one of the meditations, but I’d love to layer something else in too. So, how should we start our year??
