It’s December 29th - Happy Birthday, Marnie!!! Where would we be without you and this amazing practice and platform you created, and community you fostered, and movement we share? Thank you for being born, for sharing your love and light, and for helping us all reconnect with ourselves, and for encouraging our health and wellness. We are all grateful for you and wish you the best year yet outstretched before you. Be in the Light. ✨💫🥳🎂🎉💖

Informative, interlaces physical therapy exercises, perfect to pause and rewind to catch both sides (if not healing on one side). Makes me want to revisit the microball class for that feel good release all over. Thank you!

I revisited this class late at night by candlelight and while the flow is paced in constant motion it was such a loving, calming way to reconnect to my body before bed and stretch some muscles that were recently awakened and strengthened in a power sculpt class. Marnie does SUCH a phenomenal job with the verbal cues and guiding through this entire class, it struck me poignantly from start to finish - so well done in explaining, guiding, and pacing so the flow can continue and if your head is lowered or facing a different direction (as we move around the mat in this class), the visuals aren’t missed thanks to the descriptive language and form reminders.

All floor without getting higher than brief lunge stances. The ankle weights add that small but mighty oomph, creating the heat probably a bit faster than without the added weight. The hand weights also added power. I started class feeling stiff and that first downdog was tight, but this class warmed me and stretched me in such a lovely way. The choreography is fairly simple but worked the full body in under 45 minutes.

Whew, just like Marnie says in class "this is the badass in you. If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you." While this power sculpt works our arms, our entire core (back muscles, abdominal muscles), and glutes and legs are included. We are standing, we are squatting and lifting, we are planking, we are on our backs. Just weights (I used 10 lbs. in each hand) and a mat and your badass spirit needed. The playback is perfect for me to watch the changes carefully then rewinding to do the whole reps. I find heavier weights brings that intentionality to avoid injury with very mindful breathwork and bending at the knees. I loved the closing message meditation as well!

Attention everyone! This is THE promo deal to snag. My annual renewal is not until June, but when I email connect@mbodybymarniealton.com in December and use the promo code and ask for it to be applied to my account, Katelyn takes care of it and when my annual renewal bill occurs six months later it’s $100 off. So please know you can benefit from this amazing deal even if it’s not yet annual renewal time for you. Personally, when I’m seeking motivation to carve out the time and energy to get to the mat I remind myself how much bang for my buck I’m getting with the annual membership the more I use it. A win-win! Thank you Marnie and M/BODY team for offering this discount as it REALLY helps a lot of us. Don’t miss out sweet #mbodyglobalfam! 🎁

Same to you, sweet Jessica!

The Holiday Signature was a joyful, sweaty, fun challenge of a class! I loved the one-leg barre choreography sequence which had me mentally and physically activated to maintain, and I felt sneaky abdominal work throughout the entirety of class. Speaking of mental engagement- the cardio dance kept me bouncing even when it took me 2+ run throughs to capture the choreography. As Lindsey commented during the Live, watching Marnie and LP laugh and have fun with it reminds us to do the same. Class felt close to 3/4 standing, with a fiery quick plank sequence, then abdominal work that brought the heat on a cold winter solstice and finished with a hip bridge sequence. Happy Winter Solstice, happy holidays, happy early birthday to Marnie and others (including my mom today!), and thank you Katelyn, LP, and Marnie for this happily lit class. ❤️‍🔥💚

Happy Holidays to all of you amazing, strong, capable, smart and getting wiser each day, brave, healthy Loves! Extra warmth sent to those who find this time of year extra challenging. It’s all valid and you matter. Happy early Birthday to Marnie and everyone celebrating a new trip around the sun. I loved being with you all during the Live class today, thanks for shouting out my own beacon of light, my mom Ramona’s birthday, on this winter solstice. Todd joined me for this fabulous Holiday class and wishes the fam a happy new year! Here’s a sweaty post class selfie, he wore the holiday PJs during class for extra thematic heat. 😂❤️‍🔥💚
