So I had the thought today I’d love a new XXX class and would love some salsa style moves incorporated as we didn’t have a themed Cinco de Mayo class (I understand offering new and different classes and I honor the creativity but miss some of the former calendar themes and that’s probably just me and my nostalgia and Cancer zodiac sign self). But those XXX classes are so fun and empowering!

45 Min Signature featuring Healing Hips with primarily standing hip work, with last 1/4 of so of class down on the mat (on our backs with tummy facing the sky). I loved the barre choreography- that move of the outstretched weighted arm and leg into coupé felt and looked so beautiful. My legs were shaking during some standing and barre work. This class had moments of challenge and ease as we sink into it; that soft strength referenced in class. Favoriting!

Yay you’re here! Welcome, Anna! Classes from /416 (Halloween pelvic floor class) onward had Marnie with a significant foot injury… so Lauren Poole (badass girlie in general who used to teach at the studio back in the brick and mortar days) is featured helping to teach class through late Fall into winter classes while Marnie healed. I wonder if checking classes where Marnie returns as the only individual instructor may be helpful, as she notes modifications she does at times as her foot was rehabing (I think around class /429 Marnie is on her feet solo teaching again). Each and every class honors our feet and all of the relevé in classes and metatarsal stretches have significantly strengthened my feet in general. I’m actually just noticing I’m doing a metatarsal stretch while standing and typing this and didn’t even realize- these are the healthy habits M/BODY helps create. Wishing you well in your healing journey and again, we’re glad you’re here!

Great minds think alike, Linds! I actually deleted the next sentence to my post, asking Marnie when those IRLs are going to be so I can try to schedule/plan/budget for it and be present with more of us! But I kept it to just my little admiration haha.

/457 is a healing love letter of a balanced class from Marnie (and yourself) to you.

I am trying to swap my 3 lb. weights for 5 lb. weights more often, and this class was accessible for that for me, albeit with arms lower when straighter. A few "woo hoo's" exhaled and feeling peaceful, strong, and long upon completion of this beautiful class.

It’s been 13 hours and OHbliques and glutes- the glutes I expected but all the core twists were imbedded, seamless, aka low key sneaky. Love it!
