My second M/BODY Challenge, Stay True To You Fall 2022, is completed! 💪🩰💃🧘‍♀️🎉 I met my goal of completing all Wellness Activities (which I fell behind on at various times) and at least 45 workouts (I did 52!). I knew aiming for all 60 workouts would not be realistic during this incredibly busy time, so I created a goal that would help rather than hinder me. Movement plays a critical role in my stress management and well-being. Having this Challenge to anchor into during an emotionally heavy time (along with the love and support of the #mbodyglobalfam which is unparalleled) is high on my gratitude list. Congratulations to those who participated in any way, shape, or form!

35 minute no equipment class, with lots of jumping jacks in the dance warmup series,a few minutes on the mat focused on glutes (keeping your brain active), and super brief plank action at the end. Even though this was a jumpy class to build energy, there are always lower impact modification choices presented.

I saw this on IG before catching up on the CB, but I am hoping this healing journey goes well for you and you can focus in on ALL the other aspects of your greatest health and wellness (that don’t involve using your foot). As frustrating as this must be, it would be so cool to be in a more progressed state of wellness in any other area of your life too (healthier thoughts? Healhier habits? Healthier self-talk? Healthier boundaries? Progress on working through the crap that keeps coming up and requiring your attention? None of those are specific to you Marisol, but just brainstorming). Either way, wishing you a speedy recovery and a lot of self-compassion.

Fall 2022 Challenge Wellness Activity is comment on a current favorite class… this class was posted just 3 days ago and I’ve been thinking about it every day since! Going to do it again during another quiet night soon ❤️
This class is a beautiful ballet burn with elegant power (lovingly categorized now under my Badass Ballerina favorites). Basically all standing with brief weights (that did not feel so brief in the moment). ❤️
