What a great example of how a chair (at home or while traveling) can be a perfect surface to use. I was going to re-do the Chair Dance class that I love, but when searching for it I found this one and wanted to explore it. Barely on the mat (just as an option if using the chair as a slanted surface is not your choice) so otherwise all standing and leaning (?) on the chair. Very cool class to try out - worked up a sweat, felt the stretch, and felt the strength!

This class combines grace with power, unleashing the badass ballerina within. Loved the choreography combos at the barre AND on the floor. The moves create heat even w/o jumps. Favorited and will return for when I want to feel that beautiful balletic flow.

I read this quickly as “there was a spirit in the live today” as in that was creating the technical issues 🤪🤣🤣 It was a great Badass Ballerina class- can’t wait for it to post for others to check out. Hope the truck is running well!

Hope you feel some relief soon! I echo the recommendation for one of the healing hips classes (or recovery flow even) for menstrual cramps. ❤️

Your art is incredible, but so are your words Amanda. Sending you love on your journey.

I tried this all-floor class for the first time, as I saw a #mbodyglobalfam post it recently on IG. This class is gentle and appropriate for an evening workout if you need to move and stretch but still be able to sleep. I chose it for an early morning when my cramps felt like I couldn’t do more than gentle, flowy movement, but I didn’t want stagnation. There is a flow that warmed me up but was not too fast-paced. I was mindful of my sensitive knees at times and enjoyed using my M/ovement ball to support some forward fold stretches.

Yaaay! You’re here, you reached stages you were hoping to that help you move forward (and celebrating w/ an M/BODY membership!). You’re in good company of many who discovered these workouts on YouTube/ PopSugar. And YES the words of Marnie are impactful. Not only does she avoid body shaming or setting expectations of harder/stronger/MORE, but there are so many wonderful messages of support and loving kindness that resonate. If the words hit you, then they’re meant for you, just like the form corrections- even if she uses someone else’s name, it’s meant for all of us to check and see if that helps or speaks to us. And the M/BODY team is phenomenal and work their gorgeous butts off to keep things working. And then this community…. So glad you are now a part of it too!
