Well this class turned my bad mood around! Somehow Marnie blends the energy of Cinco de Mayo inspired songs with some Black Velvet, Nice For What, and Closer to Me in all the hodge-podge background musical perfection to some inner thigh work, glutes feeling like they could rip through my leggings at the barre, some wild plank choreography with the ball (which had me cussing and laughing and I both cannot wait to try again and I KNOW I will be cussing in preparation when I come back to it), core leg chaos, and bridge bonanza. Afterward my core, my inner thighs, my glutes, hips, and shoulders are awakened and my feet feel stretched from the relevé work. This Signature class had me WORKED!

This was a beautiful flow that could be done at nighttime as it felt centering and grounding, but it also felt a bit energizing and could be a soft and loving way to begin a new day.

Standing for 3/4 (or more) of class and then down on the mat in a tabletop position that moves into plank choreography of twists. I used my regular 3 lb. weights as the choreography was challenging and wiggly enough to balance and lift. It was not complicated in movement, but challenging to execute. I think my second and third time trying this class will feel more empowering, and maybe by that third time I can increase with wrist weights to add on. Definitely a class you can do on the go (you don't NEED the weights but they're great) and will need space to lunge behind you and jump in front of you while standing, with leg lifting space circled around you. Very sweaty and powerful even though short. Beautiful closing meditation at the end as well.

This was every bit of a POWER SCULPT class - I used a mix of hand weights and wrist weights to go more than my usual but not at Marnie's level of 15 pounds (and that's okay!). I focused on my breath for lifting and felt serious core work. My arms and shoulders and back were strengthened, but the next day somehow my legs (inner thighs and hamstrings) were really feeling worked, which surprised me!

THIS is the class for when you need to engage in the brain work with the body work - your mind simply cannot be anywhere but here with your body for the slight variations of the choreography. I agree with Mali Perl below about the visual of the arm stretch after handweights from the back- so helpful! I was warmed up, sweaty, and feeling strong from this class. A lot of wide second stretches, ball used at the barre and floor work on the mat. I think my entire body will be feeling this one!

Such a beautiful elegant balletic flow for this all standing class, where the only low impact options are the brief warmup where you can add a bounce. The class itself is pulses, gorgeous leg lifts that sculpt legs and booty and the dancer's arm positions that offer increased heart rate and graceful frames. I continue to work on keeping my hips centered and not one side popping up or turning out during this lovely barre flow.

This wonderful class was sweaty, sculpty, and had a flowy stretch woven through. It brought elegance and power, and had me dig deep to drop my hips lower in various standing choreography and lift my leg higher on the mat. Marnie explains it after, but the optional ankle weights are meant to go on when we first move to the barre (this isn’t stated in that moment so know in advance it’s a choice). I loved the balletic flow, even as we move to some classic M/BODY jams as well as an April 20th homage and then all up in Taylor Swift’s new releases (unedited music in class with all the adult lyrics). The energy is JOY and POWER and RELEASE and FLOW. A new favorite and I can’t wait to try it with ankle weights when I revisit!

In this sweat class the movements are quick and so can be the changes (use the pause/rewind buttons as needed!). It does invite the option for jumps and bounce in the first warmup cardio dance before we get to the hand weights (brief time with weights). Almost all standing; you need room for gorgeous long leg extensions behind your barre/stable surface. The goal of being low with a bend in standing knee and keeping hips level were my thoughts throughout. The barre series includes some back lunges and a few times we are up and down on knees at the barre, so have a padded surface ready if that helps you feel comfortable. Great sweaty class with some SERIOUS burn in the legs and glutes - loved it!

All standing, no equipment class that can be done on the go with some spacial planning (kicks all around and some back stepping into curtsey and lunges but this class does NOT have down into planks and back up again - we only go to the floor for final stretches). Wonderfully strong, sweaty, heart loving, and INNER THIGH WORK that felt glorious. I LOVE kickboxing inspired M/BODY classes and all of these side kicks have my heart.
