This was a physical, mental, and emotional reset of a class for me. After all of the large and accessory muscle groups awakened and strengthened and some sweat worked up I finished class feeling present and peaceful in my body. I always love the annual Pride theme classes and this was a wonderful way to kick off the challenge! Others have commented on the class well, and the up and down on the mat. Each part felt well-timed; at the barre, on the mat in planky dances, on the mat belly-up. I loved all of the cross-midline-work and the Pilates vibes on the floor.

Revisiting this for the Unshakable You Challenge, and next time my goal is to stay in the fire more than I did this morning. The ending stretches are extra long, starting gracefully at the barre, bringing us down to the mat in a yogic way, and continuing final stretches down on the mat with a beautiful closing words of meditation. Please leave time for that at the end for yourself!

Firey start to the morning! 🌞

I cannot wait!!! Pride classes consistently end up on my Favorites list- what a joyful way to kick off a quickie 3-week challenge!!! This is a personal send off to a decade and a welcoming of a new one for me, and I can’t imagine bookmarking it without M/BODY movement to dance my way through.

The arm dance is truly 20 minutes, so if you are shorter on time you're still good to go as the class is bookmarked/sectioned out with timestamps. I used mostly 5 lbs. (that's been my goal recently to make 5 lbs. more of my regular than 3 lbs.) but I did switch to 3 lbs. twice as needed to keep the arms up and going. Beautiful work, appreciate incorporating our legs here and there as well. Great for on the go as we don't use a lot of floor space (we curtsy to the back side and are on our knees with one leg stretched to the side, but otherwise often standing). Fab class!

Gliders are fun and (at times) frustrating and effective- for REAL!! Well said, Caroline!

The mantra around minute 26 after the cool down stretch was lovely, start there perhaps, then enjoy this accessible gilder class, which brings that gorgeous inner thigh work, a lot of crossing our medial line, and brief plank postures as we move our legs to really heat it up. This felt opening and strengthening in a totally low impact way.

This 45 minute class felt like a 20-ish minutes! Some serious burny sculpty moments with that ball and barre, beautiful down to the floor and back up again moves that felt so good, and I loved that cardio flush at the end. Old versions of me did not like cardio- who dis? Thanks Marnie for helping me discover and re-discover ways to love movement and heart-healthy moments.

(Beaming my heart to Canada and LA)

Are you considering doing a 60-minute class but you're not really feeling it? Maybe you can carve the time for it, but the blah mood is making you second guess it? Hi, do this class. Because same, and I feel a lot better after than I did before.

Choreography is engaging but not too complicated when short on patience; pace is wonderfully consistent, muscle burn is there and yet sustainable as we then are shifting to the next and frfr stretches are mixed in. Great shoulder work (rehabbing) opportunities, lymph flushing opportunities, and wonderfully counted and guided by Marnie to keep you going and help explain form (for example: lifting up from our abdomen when on a knee and hand on the mat with other leg and arm lifted to release some tension on the supporting wrist, okay what? It worked!)
