I love how class started off bouncy and light and worked up to sculpt and fire. The ending with weights was amazing and a true push for those last sets of 8. Keeping the weights in our hands for closing stretch felt so calming in the blue light. Thanks for a great class!

Hi Emily! I’ve been thinking about this question and thought I’d check my “Easier” classes playlist (subjective and personal as to what is easier, but I think I mean physically easier than others; not necessarily choreography easy or mental brain easy). And no Marnie class is actually easy! They are all challenging.

Here are some options to preview and consider for your friend if you’d like :)

Older Sigs

- 40 (Halloween theme but light and fun, accessible without strain)

-151, 186 (challenge celebration classes tend to be super fun and balanced)

Newer Sigs

-376 (10 yr anni celebration class)

-445 Girls Rule (title says it all)

-468 Unshakable You (yup, it’s in the title)

I also just really like the theme classes and find them engaging and fun, so if your friend likes country 472 is SO fun, and Taylor 351 you can’t go wrong. My sister is into fitness but isn’t an mbody member and the Knockouts are great for her.

Okay, I’ll stop 😂

Mayo..oh sweet friend (I feel I can say this simply because we exist in this space and community together, I hope that’s okay). I sat with this vulnerable, honest, and beautifully written message in my chest and held it until I felt I knew how to reply. I still don’t know. My heart is with you.

You are holding such immense love in your body for your daughter and the surges of emotions must feel completely overwhelming. We’re with you and wish we could offer more than sentiments across oceans. Your processing and outlook are admirable despite your pain and grief. I know you know it is exactly what you need to ride through it all; all we can do, with grace and surrender as you eloquently put. So much love 🤍

Really loved this one. The new warm up felt so intentionally calming and restorative and I instantly relaxed into it. The standing series was so challenging that I had that to failure crumble can I stand on the last sets moments. For some reason with this particular single leg work I find it feels so grounding and strengthening instead of defeating and I want to do it again (unlike wide second challenges that lead me into panic and teeth grit and I want to run away from). Not sure why, but I lean into it and am thankful for it.

Lovely start to class, engaging choreo, and some burny challenges in there too. I love sweat classes with the dynamic combos and quick transitions. This one had such an intentional focus that felt so calming. I also used socks on my floor and didn’t realize how much holding releve on a bare floor creates sensations on the balls of my feet (strength building opportunity!).

I loved the rhythmic flow and intentional counts during the barre series. All of the new choreo on the floor with weights was SO good! I want to return to this class immediately for that satisfying power harnessing feeling that comes with engaging muscles in new ways with props.

Jennifer, you can absolutely bring your front bent leg in closer! Marnie cues this a lot in cool down pigeon pose flows. My two sides are different as well. Our bodies are pretty amazing that way and different every day!
