I’m going to give you my take on toxic stuff in case you find it helpful. But do excuse me / throw it away if it doesn’t resonate for you! If someone feels bad about themselves but can’t handle those feelings so they act in a way to make the other person feel them, as a way to externalise it. Not intentionally but that doesn’t help much at the time. Sometimes at the end of a workout, I get this sense of being in my own body and centred in my own feelings.
