Hi!! I'm a photographer, artist, mother, and ever hopeful that I will one day make it to an IRL class with Marnie and the fam!

Hi Fam!! Given we may have some new curriculum headed our way, and because periodically I've seen related questions asked, I thought it might be nice to share some equipment I use that I love. First up is this mat: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092XMWXK7?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_5&th=1&psc=1 I have an enthusiastic and aggressive tailbone which has always given me grief in any seated ab work, or really any time I sit period, even when I was a kid. This mat makes sit ups and boat pose possible, whereas before, I had major pain in these positions and couldn't do them because they caused my tailbone to break through the skin (sorry if this is TMI and intense, just hoping it's helpful). It does slip around, and it is a bit fragile, but I use it under my normal Manduka mat for cushion and it's fabulous.
Secondly, after almost five years of M/BODY I decided to buy a barre. I bought this freestanding one, per a recommendation from the fam: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082WVC5TF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 So far, I'm super happy with the quality. It's light, but does stay put on a concrete floor, and I've been able to successfully fairy jump without it slipping out from under me. I'm a 5'7, solid woman 🤣 and it handles my body weight like it's nothing.
And, lastly--if you're in the market for inexpensive hand weights, I've been super happy with my All Motion ones from Target. The quality for price can't be beat.
Anyone else have any tips or products they love for this work?

hi Fam! I've been missing the live energy as summer winds down, but still showing up in the play back. Thanks for all the great comments under each video description. It's so helpful to know what I'm getting myself into 😂..  For this month, and the theme of adventure, I've been doing ONLY workouts that I HAVE NOT favorited. I started it a week ago, and so far, I've kinda been loving the return to things I either struggled to be connected with, or just didn't jive on. As a person whose challenge lies in slowing down, I've appreciated the mind shift. Just a thought, if anyone is wanting to throw more adventure, even if it's mental (and really, it kind of all is), into their workout routine. Have a great week fam!!

My mini and I are going to be missing the live this morning, but wishing all who can make it a fabulous time! ALSO, major thanks to Marnie for the shoutout to my girl, Eliza, last week and to the welcome via comments— she lit up (which is in fact this month’s theme) 🥰🥰🥰

Thinking of all of you this morning, so many celebrations, worries, stresses, and everything in between. I love the idea that light can and does exist in all these spaces. Grateful 🫶🏻

It was so great to sweat with you all this Planksgiving!! I haven’t been in the lives much, but I’m still here and still grateful for all that mbody gives every stinking time I come to the mat. Nothing but love and thankfulness 🫶🏻I wish you all the best rest of your week!!

Hi friends! Sharing my board early, and hoping it still counts 🙌🏻 I’m headed out of cell phone range this week and will miss the celebrations sadly.. but I’ll be there in spirit! I did 48/60 workouts during this challenge— and honestly, this one was the hardest I’ve ever done because our summer schedule was bonkers! I know lots of you experienced this too— trying to catch up lives, sitting on desk crew, balancing kids at home, dealing with emotional family trips. Despite feeling a little disconnected from the family this go around, I still want to congratulate and celebrate each of you and what you’ve made it through this summer! To us 🥂🥰

Hi sweet and precious fam.. I have an ask for recommendations for instrumental music. Piano is def welcome, but it needs to have a hopeful vibe (less sharps more flats- if you dig me) and not a sad one. Needing to find the space to tackle some heavy heavy anxiety around travel and I’m trying to prep myself in every way I can. Meditation music is also very welcome here!!

This round of challenge is really teaching adaptation, as life continues to change and flow. Finding myself unable to make lives as much as I could in those early challenges, but I made it today! It was an absolute pleasure to work my brain with that initial barre combo, right in the thick of all of you people and your amazing energy!! Have a good Wednesday friends 🥰

Hi fam! Wahoo for another challenge. Playing catch up and sharing my goals and mindset.. I want to do each of these with grace for days that feel tougher. Our summer is very busy, which makes a challenge difficult (the same for many of you). So I decided to have two goals that felt achievable, with one that seems harder. Early morning workouts are the tough one, but I’m going to try!

3 Goals:

  1. early morning weekday workouts

  2. 45 days

  3. 3 liters of water a day, an easy one.
