Sweet Liz! Thank you so much for sharing this. Girl please know you are not alone. Medically induced menopause after treatment can feel really strange. It can change muscle mass, how you recover (aka soreness), insulin sensitivity and just the way your body feels/holds weight. So if things feel different than they used to that’s very real and natural. Please know you’re not doing anything wrong!

For M/BODY, start first with strength focused classes like: Sculpt, Power Sculpt, Slow Sculpt, posture/glutes/back/core work,  Strength + Stability. These are specifically designed to rebuild muscle, support bone density and help your body learn to trust its power again. Keep walking too because it really does have so many proven benefits.

Don’t be intimidated by Signature classes. They are rally amazing too. You can take as many breaks as needs and move a little slower. It’s not about keeping up with the intensity as much as it is about spending 45 or 60 min focused on on how your body is feeling and responding to certain choreography. It’s created to be a mindful meditation as much as a workout. These classes really are one of the most powerful ways to support your cardiovascular health, lymphatic system (immunity!), nervous system (connected to hormone balance) and energy. They’re also so magical for creating JOY (proven to strengthen our immune system) and rebuilding relationship with your beautiful body! Especially aftet illness so many of us disconnect from our body and so much of healing is learning how to come back into conversation with it again. Please tune into kindness and curiosity instead of feeling like you need to ‘get it somewhere’. You are exactly where you need to be.

Finally on lower-energy days, recovery classes are super powerful too!  It helps your body regulate back to a more calm/balanced state now that it no longer feels like it’s in fight or flight. These classes are especially good on the days when pushing harder would only create more depletion. Your body needs to feel safe and nourishes to be able to let go of the protective inflammation.

Please let me know if can ever come to a LIVE too. I’d love to talk about this more there too. I think it would help so many women, even those navigating less extreme hormonal shifts. You have gotten through the hardest part mama!!! You’re here! You’re healthy! You have a whole community from around the world who has your back. You’re surrounded by love. Keep updating us on how you’re doing and know I’m always here if you have questions. - Marnie xo ❤️

Hi Kathleen! I’m so happy you’re here too! I’m thinking you mean plies right? Just want to make sure I understand so I can be as specific and helpful as possible for you ❤️ Would you mind writing here a quick workout # + timestamp as an example of when you feel the discomfort? Also, where in your knee does it seem to happen (I know that can be kinda hard to totally pinpoint just if you feel it on a one side/ above / below your kneecap that sort of general thing). I’m looking forward to figuring this out with you. Xoxo

Nicole! We don’t anticipate any more interruptions on the app or the website. Please let us know if you notice anything 🙏❤️
