Box breath is my go-to tool to calm my nervous system, decrease physical stress, calm mental anxiety and ground me back in my body. Here's how it works:

breath in for 4 secondsย 

hold your breath for 4 seconds (pro tip * focus keeping your face and body relaxed for the whole cycle)

exhale for 4 seconds

hold for 4 seconds
