This is a favorite because that booty and leg burn was something else!! And so sweaty in 30 minutes, without being stuck doing a ton of cardio. How?? No equipment, various modification options. Have water nearby. 💦💦❤️

Just did M/<30 Barre Sculpt /43 which required no equipment, did not involve a lot of jumps, and didn’t take up much more space than the mat.

Fabulous class- shoulders down to toes worked without equipment. Sweaty but quick. Favoriting!

This was super calming. I tried this after running today, since I’m not a runner and wanted to stretch a bit so it wouldn’t leave me sore. If you need something gentle and calming, like to connect and honor your body after a long day but don’t have the energy to do a more traditional workout, this is what you should try. Loved this!

Ok I just tried to attach a pic of my medalist and it won’t stay. Imagine a cute and sweaty child wearing a finisher’s medal and a “bronze” medal. There ya go! 🥉

I don’t post my kiddo on my public IG but I am one proud momma! Today my 5.5 year old finished his second 5k AND he earned third place for boys under age 12! Eli kept a great pace even after skinning his knee, and he was so determined. When he said he was tired or was expressing frustration or doubts he could do it, I was reminding him we need water breaks and we can adjust the pace, and quoting Marnie’s mantras of “we can do hard things” and “as long as we’re going in the right direction it doesn’t matter how fast or slow we are going.” For a competitive racer that wouldn’t apply, but for our purposes it’s perfect. I like modeling and engaging him in healthy habits, and even though I still don’t like running I’ll always run for a cause (today was pancreatic cancer). I’m sharing as I’m proud of him AND b/c M/BODY influences me on and off the mat (and trickles down to my little one).

Just did this class since I couldn’t make it Live today. Remember these 60 min classes flow quickly. Some of the choreography felt challenging mentally and physically tonight. Being 3 months into almost daily M/BODY has helped me acknowledge the frustration when it builds and then reframe that this is exploratory, playful, and as long as I am moving my body I am good. If I’m off beat or messing up the sequence I’m still good. I appreciate the growth in all areas of wellness. ❤️ All parts of me felt this workout; I’m especially noticing it in my legs, hips, glutes, and core.

** I was less sore after the second time (compared to feeling it for a few days after doing this class live)

I always love a badass ballerina class that brings graceful movements to a sometimes clumsy body! This is VERY low to no impact, all standing, with a burn in the legs and a focus on postural alignment of trunk. I am always so amazed at Marnie's choreography creations - the earlier moves warm up the muscles for the middle of class, and then the ending of class gives that release and stretch to the muscles that felt the fire earlier. Those ending leg stretches made my burning quads feel like they were remembered and honored for the work they just did for me.
