Felt true to the roots of ballet; have a sturdy surface or barre, put on fuzzy socks on a smooth floor if possible for sliding and gliding, and engage in this gorgeous standing ballet class. There are no jumps, bounces (not even in warm up), but leave room for your leg to extend in front, behind, and to the side. Loved the feeling of the balletic grace infused throughout.

Perfect celebratory class, with infectious high energy, a lot of cardio bounce, bringing ALL the “four more sets of eight” and feeling like it was the best mix of classic M/BODY weaving in some newer fav choreography moves. The songs are uplifting, the Marnie messages and words of wisdom are supportive and encouraging, and the after class time celebrates the community and the M/BODY Queens who breathed life into this platform and nurtured it to reach this milestone. I absolutely love being here, and the M/BODY movement practice helps my body feel more like a happy home for me, steady and strong and taking up space in all the best ways.

Have your M/ovement ball for this class- it felt like the added special “ooomph” bringing the muscle activation to the next level. We use it standing, standing at the barre, and on the floor. It was wild to me how Marnie reminds us where the most muscle work is, such as pushing the ball into our knee while laying on our back, which did more core work than our leg/arm raises and added crunch, and she was right. Then doing it all together was FIRE. Also, this class slayed my thighs, I wasn’t expecting it until they seemingly left my body. Great class that brings the heat for a full-body balanced Signature, with a lot of 16 and 24 counts rather than a full “four more sets of eight.” Fabulous playlist as well!

This class does not have jumps and not even a lot of pulses, so it's great for when you need to pull into strength and endurance, but not jumpy, bouncy aerobic cardio. I was warm, sweating at times, and I am so damn proud that I kept my arms up and kept weights in my hands, but as I did this with a friend I was reminding them they can always drop the weights and continue the arm dance. I am grateful Marnie's choreography switches so often so we can work through 30 minutes of straight arms and it is accessible and doable and engaging the entire time. Holding my core tight and strong throughout felt like it's own workout embedded in a workout. As mentioned below, this incorporates lower body work and movement, so it is arm centric but still works the whole body. Toward the end we are on our knees, so consider having extra padding nearby if you need for comfort.

This was a quick class that builds warmth and heat. The series flows quickly and beautifully, beginning in standing warm-up (wide second and then lunge kicks) and the majority of class is on the mat. Certainly felt this in my hips, but this also felt great on my legs and glutes from other classes recently.

How does 20 minutes create sweat and fire?? Because we're on Marnie time, and it is not wasted. I liked all of the crossing of center line and my focus when I return is maintaining centered hips while parts above and below twist and cross. This class brings the awakening of all over, and I liked the face down stretches at the end, with a quick loving message for meditation.

Such a great classic Signature class. My legs were shaking during the standing portion and I appreciate Marnie's words about elegance and strength, and the verbal form guides (it still amazes me how something like wrapping my thighs tighter can enhance the abdominal work). I felt like the core was stretched and benefiting from purposeful breath and choreography throughout class. This classic class has some brief push-ups and plank/mountain climbers, and I've lost some stamina in these forms, so while it is hard for me it is a gift to continue to practice and re-build that strength and endurance.

I've been doing M/BODY classes for a while, but I found this class had a lot of helpful form descriptions by Marnie, so this is great for review or if you're newer. Full Body Signature class that starts out quick with a lot of bounce and jump options, moving in and out of a low squat form. The M/ovement ball is under one foot in a playful lunge series at the barre and "squeezes don't stop" (for real) in between knees at the barre. Mat series brings that ongoing burn with the ball behind the knee then some psuh-up and plank-inspired choreography (I dropped down a few times but I appreciate the pause button and 10-second rewind button I used generously in this class). There are stretches interlaced, thankfully, because this class works you and this hour will NOT go to waste. I feel so alive after this class, energized and calm.

This class belongs on an Empowerment playlist (which we can create on the M/BODY app!). It is a wonderful Signature class that flows quickly and choreography combos give a little bit of everything while standing, at the barre, and on the mat. The comments before me about a Tina Turner Proud Mary push-up series had me nervous, but OF COURSE the flow and options guided by Marnie make everything so accessible (and it was a rolling pushup combo with gooey flow and then the option of rolling sautes so it already incorporates little reprieves for wrists, shoulders, etc.). So get out of your head, get ready to move and sweat, and get ready for some more helpful self-talk messages as you progress through class with a soundtrack to support you.
