Heeeey fellow tall girl! I bought it used off of FB Marketplace, but apparently it is Barre Trainer brand, portable double freestanding 4 foot ballet barre, 29” base. Extremely lightweight and easy to adjust.

*Yes, so many distractions, but your message about it is beautiful! And whenever Marnie’s meditations echo that, I feel it in my soul.

Yes! So many distractions, but

“nevertheless, she persisted.” Yessss Miranda, you juggled all of that and STILL got it in today! 🎉 I agree, the quiet and limited distractions are a sweet spot of an early morning or nighttime workout.

I only have experience with a portable barre, but that alone was a fantastic upgrade from using a chair! Mine is adjustable, so as a tall person having the height options was a form game changer. Of course, mounted to the wall means it’s the right height for you. If I was making a dedicated gym/studio space, I would want at least 2 walls having a mirror visible from the barre. I’m not yet to the point where I can totally feel the correct form, and I need to check a mirror often to help correct me. THEN I notice it feels better. Either way- I’m so excited for you and the adventure of creating this special space!

🙋‍♀️ Can’t wait! I’ve been posting about it on FB and IG hoping to share the love. T-ball games haven’t started yet so I can still make the Saturday Lives for now 💚

*Yes you CAN, and are, do[ing] hard things!! I hope this extremely stressful and uncertain transitional time moves quickly and you stay grounded in what is in front of you in each moment. The time will pass, I hope you can feel some of that steadiness in you while it storms chaos around you. We are rooting you on!

Thank you Kendall! I am reflecting that support back to you, and I agree there is magic in the available support and rooting of one another in the global fam. It’s so nice that it’s there, and feels like a living, breathing thing as so many are putting their love and energy into it. It’s cool that it’s not “required,” it’s available to take or leave based on what others need or want. It’s so refreshing not to have competition or snarkiness involved, and I enjoy seeing others make it to the mat and sharing their experiences (triumphs and challenges). Collectively I think we’re all breathing out the bullshit, and I am here for it! I also agree the 20 mins Ballet Sculpt on April 20th was a beautiful class. Hope you soak in the Chilean views and vibes, and you’re feeling more settled in this travel and visit opportunity.

PS- really appreciated the tip to use the ball in between knees for sensitive knees. That was the ONE move in Marnie’s PopsugarFitness YouTube videos that I always dreaded w/ knee sensitivity, and that ball helped. Thank you!
