Marisol I’m glad your relatives sound like they are also safe, although again the impact of this fear, infrastructure damage, and traumas of natural disaster can be so difficult. Hoping for their best, continued safety, and sending you all strength.

Ugh, Lizamary. You and your family are so strong, and yet it’s okay to be grateful for physical safety and still not be okay. To be strong and be struggling. I echo the gratitude for their physical safety, but I am keeping them (your family and your husband’s relatives and all of the friends in between) in my heart. I can only try to imagine going through this, after such devastation 5 years ago. Even though embody “estamos bien” you know we are here for you, if you need to vent, think out loud, or just touch in with the shadow sides of being fine and being strong - b/c it’s not sustainable to be okay all of the time. We’re here for you and we see how you are always there for them. ❤️❤️❤️

This class has lots of gentle stretching. There was enough movement for me to feel warm, and while I think it could be a great way to start the day I’m going to add it to my can-do-at-nighttime list as I don’t think it will be too activating. Writing this a day after doing the Live and my obliques are feeling it from the abdominal twisting. That was sneaky as I didn’t feel it during the workout!

Oh NO Miranda!!! That sounds incredibly challenging. I hope you both feel better soon, and somehow you pull through this important work week (whether that’s them offering you grace as you are sick or whether that’s you digging deep and then taking time off in a few days to rest and heal). Hopefully Aubrey’s and your well-being can be prioritized. Sending you strength.

Similar suggestions as posted- I have workout clothes set out, the workout class identified the night before, and 2 alarms set. And the special sauce is that flexibility and grace I’m learned to give myself for knowing I feel great starting the day w/ exercise, but it’s also ok (not life threatening) if I don’t. Getting up earlier is the hardest part (so get yourself to bed earlier if possible and get to the mat as quickly upon waking as possible). Consider what light snack you can have w/ meds and if eating a bit more right after the workout helps find that balance. Cheering for you and your efforts! 💪

That stinks, sorry you’re going through that Emily. Maybe you can come on Wednesday and just be with us in the chat if you’re feeling up to that? You’re supported by this community as you heal and the mat will be there when you’re ready.

This class was SO sweaty, incorporated a lot of weights that felt challenging, and yet you move through the 45 minutes so quickly. The ending stretches incorporating the M/ovement ball felt phenonmenal. As someone who used my child's playground ball for the first few months, I can say any ball will do for these workouts, but investing in the M/BODY ball has felt even better. I'm always grateful for when I can make the Live classes in real time, but I can still feel the shared energy and support when working out from the catalog as well.

Great leg/hip work in this class. Low impact but still sweaty. The choreography was fairly simple, and yet my brain was very engaged.
